Lovely location, interesting old building, good breakfast

A good central location within walking distance of the main canal. A friendly welcome on arrival. Good continental breakfast.

This hotel is in an old house,with a good location near historic area. It is not elegant, but the staff are great, the breakfast is free (and excellent) and I would recommend it for individuals and families who want a small quiet place to stay. There is no elevator, however. As I found everywhere in Belgium, the staff all speak English and are happy to use it with visitors.

Erasmus hotel is full of character and history. Excellent breakfast in the lovely breakfast room.

Great location with very friendly and helpful staff. The location and easy walk to the river and historical Old Town makes this a desirable place to stay. Clean, comfortable room, the kind one expects in a typical European bed and breakfast hotel.

Very convenient location, in historical city center close to Het Pand (where my conference was held). Period building with clean room and quiet, but dated furnishings. There is no lift (you may need to walk up to 3 stories to your room and so it may not be suitable for travelers with heavy luggage).Excellent Breakfast and friendly staff, fluent in English (I arrived early because of 8am flight arrival, and they gave me the room before 10am, which is something that large chains like the Marriott hotel across the road rarely does!). Very convenient (There is an Italian restaurant a few steps next to the hotel with excellent dinner).

Breakfast was very good. Hotel is quaint. Our room was a bit stark.

Old World charm was delightful. Easy walks to sights.

A wonderful hotel in the center of the city. A living museum. Close to everything.
