We received excellent services at hotel including complimentary upgrade to a suite. The staff was very professional and breakfast had many varieties. Will definitely recommend this hotel if staying near the airport-about 25 mins drive.

While the hotel is nice, they would not assist me with my issue of a reservation for Dec.16. Our flight was cancelled, then transferred, then delayed, then cancelled - we arrived wee hours of Wed. Dec. 18. I had a reservation for Dec 16 which I could not cancel nor try to contact as I was enroute with all the flight issues. The hotel would not give me even credit towards the Dec 17/18 overnight from the unused 12/16 reservation. They said it was issue of hotels.com. I decided to file a claim with my ccard - and now Vivanta says they can't refund anything as itwas unused.Plus - their parent company is the hotel in Chennai that my child's wedding was at - so they received at least 8 reservations of several days each for that. Still they would not refund the Vivanta charge, they then charged me high price for the short night and then quoted me their best price ( high ) for the second night I had to book prior to a flight( the hotel is very close to the Delhi airport) Very frustrating. Next time I will find another hotel. I refuse to give me money to a hotel that won't work with travelers but instead takes advantage.

The hotel information that it was close to the airport was misleading. It takes 45 from the airport and about 30 minutes back to the airport. It caused a lot of inconvenience for me.

I got locked in the washroom and had to call room service, they sent a mechanic, he said the door had fallen down few inches from its position. Apart from this, on leaving, the receptionist, told me the balance is some 11k, including hotel stay, in room dining and airport taxi. Out of which, the hotel stay was already paid for, when you check in, they ask for 5k deposit, that had covered in room dining and airport taxi. When I mentioned all this, she was like, let me check again sir, within few seconds, she found all the info right on her screen and the remaining balance was Rs. 97. Dropped from Rs. 11,000. to Rs. 97. I was not expecting this from “Taj”, being a world class hotel brand and neither pay attention to the property nor the staff that maintains it.

It’s a beautiful property and the staff were very helpful. The buffet dinner and breakfast offered many choices and were tasty. I would stay there again.

Room size, decor, quality fittings. Comfortable bed, great indian food (european options...but why would you) but most of all....the best customer service ive ever had anywhere.

This time over all I was satisfied with everything. Yes checking in is always a hassle they never have your room ready. Weather you are 2pm or 5pm. Slow WiFi no matter if you have an upgrade with $12 per night.
