Okay Stay, but Fitness Center and Cleanliness Were

When I first entered the room, there was an unpleasant smell, and I saw a small cockroach on the bathroom floor. The fitness center was smaller than expected, and most of the machines were out of order, so it was impossible to exercise properly. For those who want to work out, you even have to go to the front desk and ask for a key just to use the treadmill. Overall, aside from these issues, I would say it was about average.

Perfect location

The most important thing to me is a clean room. This room was very clean. We were on the second floor. We did not see an elevator. The stairs were not terrible to climb though. The staff at the front desk were very nice. The location was perfect.

Great place to stay/don't leave pets in room alone

The hotel was very clean and hotel staff were very nice. Our biggest problem was the surprise we got when we got to the hotel and it was also a dispensary. We also brought our small dogs with us, I had called the office two days prior to make sure we could bring them. We paid the fee and brought their kennel and puppy pads to cover where the kennel was being put. After a long trip with our two grandsons, my elderly mom we got them set so we could go eat somewhere. I got a call from the hotel asking us to come get our dogs because someone had made a complaint of them barking. It was 5 o’clock not 10, we had just finished eating and drove back to the hotel to get our dogs, they were not barking when we got to the room. We took them with us to go venture out. Later that night a lady that was staying next to us about had a fit when I walked out with my Chihuahua on a leash. Why allow dogs when you know that they may be staying in the hotel when the family goes out and about? And why put someone right next to a family know they are bringing their dogs? We take every precaution to ensure they have the comforts from home and try to make sure they don’t mess things up. Other than that it was a very nice hotel.

Disappointing second-stay

This was our second time staying. Our first time was great, bed was comfortable, room looked and smelled clean, cost was reasonable. This time we were put on the other side and paid 70% more which was fine being a holiday weekend, we expected that. But we walked in the room and it smelled awful, and the bed was about as soft as the floor. Gym equipment was out of order. On the plus side, we requested 2 more pillows and she said probably not because all rooms were sold out, but we came back to our room to one extra pillow which did help and I was grateful for it. We really thought we had found our favorite place to stay after our first visit in July, but we will be looking elsewhere on our next trip. Location is perfect but between the smell and the bed we got very little sleep.

Excellent family option

My family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Osage Creek Lodge! The facility was clean, comfortable and the staff was so very friendly! The breakfast was made to order and awesome! The pool and hot tub were a great way to spend free time and to end each evening. We also enjoyed playing Cornhole and yard sized Connect 4!

The staff were amazing. When they found out we needed a rollaway they moved us to a building that had the most comfortable ones. The front desk staff were super friendly. They gave us recommendations for dinner, helped us figure out how to get downtown, and navigate everything! Above and beyond. When we pulled up I was a little hesitant. But, this was beyond great! I would stay here every time!

We love this hotel and the employees!

We absolutely love this hotel! Employees are always very friendly and helpful! They go out of their to make sure you feel welcome. The location is wonderful, a short walk to downtown and its on the trolley route if you rather ride.
