Excellent hotel with super friendly and helpful staff. Great atmosphere about the place and buzzing bar/dining area. Good location right next to a U station and also close enough to walk to main tourist areas. Rooms clean with everything you need. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel for a trip to Berlin

This property is in a very central location and has a fun ambience. The attached cafe makes a wonderful overall experience. Generally safe and clean.

Best things were the staff, friendly and helpful and a central location. Bathroom was modern with great shower. Room was small with no dresser only hangers and hooks on the wall. The worst lighting ever...I could barely read at night...very low and poorly placed lighting. Berlin was in record breaking heat wave but hotel has no AC so the overhead fan was only cooling device. No hot water on two days. Needed to be fixed but failed again. Not sure I would return because of the miserable lighting.

Charming but watch out for noise/heat
Great location and atmosphere. My only caveat is lack of air conditioning. While the ceiling fan did good work, anything hotter than the 80s/60s range would have been pretty miserable. Our room over the courtyard wasn't too loud, but the front ones are on a very busy intersection.

Great hotel in central location
We had a great stay at The Circus. Great location close to the UBahn and tram. Brilliant recepetion at all times and very comfortable room - although we had one of the cheaer ones! The cafe and bar are also great for breakfast and drinks.
