This hotel bed and breakfast was an incredible venue filled with beautiful antiques and tastefully decorated. I was treated like royalty by the owners and their staff, and the accommodations and breakfast were top-notch. I highly recommend this boutique hotel for a unique lodging experience in a small Alabama town.

Lovingly restored and furnished historic building. Breakfast was amazing and we had a great dinner at the restaurant onsite. We stayed in the king suite for one night while passing through. The room was spacious and nice enough with great air conditioning. But for the additional cost, it does not have a private hot tub as the room description leads you to believe (it’s a small jacuzzi bathtub in the bathroom) and the private balcony looks over a back alley and a storage area. Also, the WiFi did not work in the room the night we were there. The owner really tried to fix that for us, but to no avail. Also, there are only stairs to the level we were on. No problem for us but could be difficult for some.

I visit the Hotel Magnolia every single year when I travel to Foley to coach a volleyball tournament, and there’s nowhere I’d rather stay than the Hotel Magnolia. I believe this is my 10th stay there, and I’ve never had a problem or concern with the room, the staff, the amenities, the security being a solo female staying there. Every time I stay, I feel like I’m visiting a relative and I’m always greeted promptly and welcomed with open arms. Whether in town for a quick stay, or for a getaway I will always recommend the Hotel Magnolia.
