When I saw this property on Orbitz I put it in the “too good to be true” category, but based on the number of glowing reviews I booked it. It truly lived up to and exceeded my expectations and bonus, it was shockingly affordable. I feel like a genius. Note to future bookers: to check in, let them know what time you’ll be there, and when you arrive at the unassuming entrance scroll thru the directory until you see “Cavalieri Palace” and press the bell button. Someone will open the automatic doors and you take the elevator to the 4th floor where the office is.

Excellent location in the center of Florence, parking howerver is kind of a pain. There's a garage available 30 eu/night, but getting to the appt. is a bit hard as you enter ZTL area (the garage takes care that you wont get a report).
The owner is great and there's an elevator even though not mentioned.
