The hotel suite was clean and the amenities were adequate

The carpets are stained and very dated. Bed was clean and crisp. The toilet was separate to the shower room Breakfast was very nice but the hot food could have a bit more variety. It was same every day The location was very good close to all transport There was so much roadworks just outside the hotel It was difficult getting in and out of the front door.

2 night stay. Lot of work being done outside the hotel so street / pavement a mess. Most things are ok - average no more and one hopes for better than that. Hot food at breakfast on morning 1 looked tired / dried out eg baked beans and scrambled eggs - better the next day. Bed not very comfortable and quilt heavier than my down quilt at home. Room size was good. Had supper in both evenings there as nothing very attractive nearby. Better choice if you wish to go further afield than say 800m around hotel. Chosen because of close proximity to Eurostar midi station - good as only 250m away.

There was construction going on right in front of the door on the street the hotel is on. It is not pleasant getting to the front door, but once you are inside it is an oasis of calm. Super close to the train station and very friendly staff. We were disappointed that the hot tub was out of commission when we were there. But the staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable.

Really hard to get to even though 2 mins from the station

Saw a rat in the kitchen. The room's were clean. No robes or slippers provided.

The hotel was OK, although there was a lot of work happening outside meaning that there was no path to walk in, only pieces of wood at an angle. This made it very awkward to walk on and not suitable for anyone with walking difficulties. It was great so close to the station and the walk into the centre was only about 15 mins. The shower was good, although I booked a double room and they gave us a room with two single beds pushed together and two duvets. The spa facilities were OK but not very clean and the staff were not overly welcoming or friendly.

Not much on offer from the menu in the restaurant, more snacks then meals Breakfast was very poor for hot breakfast cold water for tea, offered to have scrambled eggs heated in the microwave that were cold. Mushrooms & tomatoes, beans & sausage & bacon also cold However the hotel was very clean, rooms spacious & comfortable & couldn’t fault the housekeeping
