Very beautiful location

Very Nice in Kalorama

Overall, this was very good. It was a little away from everything, but the room was fine (& very warm). The site itself is lovely with rosellas & cockatoos (& evidence of visits by either rabbits or kangaroos-not seen by me). There's a lovely common area with a pool table & pretend fire. The staff were very helpful. The only thing I would warn people about is to enter via Link Rd - the alternative has a Kosisoko like climb & my ute stalled (it worked out in the end, but Link Rd is much simpler

A truly peaceful and spacious retreat when there were no conference bookings. Quiet and isolated but within reasonable range of towns and services. Good Basic accommodation and friendly staff.

I had a room with all the facilities I needed, plus coffee available all day in dining room. It was a very good price for my needs.

Stay with beautiful mountains.

Panorama Retreat & Resort is located in the beautiful mountains, but my room was very small.
Ning, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Lovely property and grounds. A bit dated, but the room was sufficient for our needs. Bed was hard and had two singles pushed together (to make a king). Can't comment on the food as we didn't eat there but the staff were friendly and welcoming.

Beautiful gardens & loved the spring flowers & seeing the bunnies. Was well located for visiting the Dandenong villages

Lovely modern conference center on dirt road. Quiet, beautiful birds. Large screen TV with fireplace in community room. Sweet staff.

A nice spot in the mountains, nice spot for access to local hiking trails. A good spot to wait out rainy weather during our stay. Friendly staff
Harold, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

The surroundings were beautiful and great facilities . We loved that The room itself was basic but good for the couple of nights we stayed. Could have had a fridge . Room was very cheap which was great Bathroom extremely small and hard to move around in though . We were disappointed that we weren’t able to pay for a buffet breakfast. We were told this by staff but saw this was available to other guests . A breakfast option may be something to look at for other guests not just big groups

Great surrounds & privacy
Jamie, 1-night trip

The location was delightful. A shelf and a clothes hook or two in the bathroom would help a lot.
Ronald, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Property was in a beautiful setting in bushland. Getting there and finding the exact location of the property was confusing as it was advertised as Panorama Resort and Retreat but we drove quite a long way out of our way and had to turn back down a narrow dirt road as the property still had a former sign on it that read 'Country Retreat'. This time we wasted trying to find it resulted in us being late for my niece's wedding.
Marie, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Very small bathroom, Bed just comfortable
Val, 2-night trip

4/10 Fair

If weather had been fine might have been a better experience.
Jewel, 1-night trip

4/10 Fair

The rooms were noisy and weirdly the tv only had abc channels. There was also an odd rule about no alcohol bought into the rooms, which if you had it then it would be taken from you. There was no kettle either and the shower door came off the rails. Also the walls were paper thin and could hearing everyone coughing and snoring. Plus the ducted heating was not able to be controlled via individual rooms so it was on all night, coming on and off every couple of minutes. Overall it made sleep impossible and I had a very uncomfortable night.

We were looking for accommodation in the hills for a work trip, this was by far the most convenient. The staff are friendly and the rooms comfortable. I would highly recommend

Very pleasant. Friendly, immaculate, warm. Excellent value for money. Superb gardens, beautifully maintained. It was a one-off trip to see family visiting from the US but would love to see it in the early spring. Only downside irrelevant - those of us from flat places found the mountain roads challenging.
Jenny, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Amazing staff. Very friendly and accommodating. They are set up as a conference centre. No fridges in the rooms if you want to keep things cool. Beautiful grounds.
Graham, 1-night trip

The area is beautiful & the room was adequate for my needs. But the shower was difficult... the water was either freezing or scalding, with little water pressure.
Laura, 1-night trip

Hard to make contact with reception and no one at reception at 2 pm.
