Staff were nice at check in, asked me if I wanted a walk in shower even though I told them that a month before at booking! When I moved a pillow to lay down and rest there was blood on the sheet! I went down to the desk and asked for a clean room. I was told there wasn't a room with a walk in shower. And no housekeeping staff was there, the desk staff asked a guy to change the sheets on the bed. He never removed his boots or coat to change the sheets! Later I had to clean off the remote for the tv as it was all crusty with god knows what,I put in a plastic bag to use it,same for the card with the channel listings! They need to throw out the plastic tree in the corner of the room as it is growing furry from years of dust this is a health hazzard! , as are the fake plants in the lobby. Get some cleaning staff who know there jobs and have a supervisor to really check their work. This place has no housekeeping standards at all. When I told the front desk I would not stay there again or recomend them all I got was a blank stare! After a very long 6 hour drive to get to Ft. McMurray is it to much to ask for a CLEAN room? Don't stay here!!! Save your money. Expedia. Take this hotel off your list.
