Last minute room booked due to our car breaking down on the way home from edinburgh airport. Staff were lovely and helpful and made us feel at ease at a very stressful time. We were able to pay extra to keep the room for a few hours while we waited for a hire car

It was a lovely hotel. The food was great and I would recommend it. The toilet in the bedroom was noisy with the macerator system.

Cosy Hotel in East Linton

The room was small and cosy but clean and tidy. The food in the restaurant was great. Good menu and cooked perfectly. There was not a big choice for breakfast. It was either a cooked Scottish breakfast or cereals but I think you could have had scrambled or poached eggs with toast if you wanted. There is a bar in the hotel which is frequented by locals who are very friendly. Had a great couple of evenings in there.

Great food and solid reasonable lodging.

The food and the bar were excellent. Room was small but clean comfortable and adequate. Only complaint was low water pressure for the shower but that did not override the positives. The location was convenient for great golf and tourist attractions. I will go back the next time I am in the area.

Great staff, good food. Room and hotel a bit tired and dated but nonetheless clean and comfortable. NO PARKING!

Staff were all lovely! Locals also very nice, real friendly village feel in the bar. Food was good and lovely little garden to sit out the back and escape the heat! Rooms were basic but did the job for our one night stay. Saw some photos online before going that worried us but room and bathroom and all public spaces very clean so don’t be put off!

Beautiful hotel in beautiful spot!

Our stay at The Linton Hotel in East Linton was fantastic from start to finish. The hotel is set in a beautiful area, perfect for a relaxing getaway, and we instantly felt welcomed by the warm, friendly team. The customer service was excellent throughout, nothing was too much trouble, and every detail was handled with care. Our room was spotless, with a wonderfully comfortable bed that made for a great night’s sleep. Breakfast was an absolute highlight! fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented, the perfect way to start each day.

Such welcoming staff who were so helpful in the morning. Breakfast was wonderful, really tasty and lots of variety. The full Scottish breakfast was a firm favourite! The room was super clean and quiet. A lovely stay if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle, which a quaint village feel. This has a family feel to it! Thank you, my 7 year old son would love to stay again.

Short stay

Overnight stay with evening meal and breakfast. Meals were good and plentiful. Booked family room for two adults which had a bit more space. What made the hotel was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Only downside was there was only on street parking.

Amazing value. Not the most luxurious, but fantastic for the price. Warm welcome, clean and comfortable room, even if it was a little dated.
