overrated
The room was old and lighting was dim, or does it want to show the traditional Arabic style? If not, the wall should be repainted. The room was tidy but not clean enough. The toilet seat was not clean and I found stain of pee on it ! Towel for covering the floor next to bath was not provided so the floor in the toilet was very slippy. The water was not hot enough. Remember to bring shower cap, toothbrush and toothpaste as they are not provided. The location is good and is closed to a metro station. Heritage House and a School are located next to the hotel. They are museums in small scale. Entrance is free, and you can enjoy free Arabic tea and coffee inside the Heritage House. Except a cafeteria, no restaurant (I have spent much time to search it but in vein), but there are many food trading companies nearby. The hotel could provide pick up service from the airport but I forgot to book it in advance. Because of flight delay, when I arrived in the Dubai International Airport, the metro service stopped, so I had to take a taxi to the hotel which cost around us$13.

totally worth booking
This hotel provides what most of 5-star hotels in Dubai cannot - flawless service of cheerful and helpful personnel, tasty breakfast, unique interior design, quiet neighborhood, metro station in less than a minute walk. İt was quite pleasant stay, probably gonna book again

古い民家を改築したゲストハウスなので、ピカピカの清潔さを求める方には向かないかもしれません。しかし、駅からの近さ、各種スークや歴史的建造物へのアクセスは抜群ですし、スタッフの丁寧な対応は素晴らしかったです。 特に朝食はしっかりしていて、この値段でこれだけのサービスを受けてよいのか?と思うほどでした。 建物が新しくないので、窓が実質はめ殺しになっていたり、エアコンの調整が簡単でなかったりしますが、それを理解できる方にはおすすめのゲストハウスだと思います。

Exotic room in an authentically Arabic building located in an older part of Dubai, this hotel was superb! The staff were extremely kind and accommodating. This was a delightful hotel.

Character hotel - walk to souks
Wonderful decor - lots of character - the stay became an experience. a few minutes walk to the Souks, the Abra boat or the metro. The staff were just lovely. Great air conditioning. A super restaurant right next door.

Beautiful space, mixed staff
The night staff is super helpful. However, the lady during the day is not. The first day we were there, she literally rolled her eyes when we pay the hotel fee with a bigger bill. When asking for restaurant recommendation, she was super curt. She also didn't mention that we need to leave the key to get the room cleaned so we didn't have the room clean both days we were there. Other than that, the space is beautiful and room was comfortable even though it was super hot outside. Good location to explore the souk.

What I love about this hotel is that it gives me an experience of old UAE. The location is perfect--the souks and public transportation are close. The staff are the best, especially Mr. Salman and the lady who ensures we are looked after during breakfasts (I apologise her name slipped my memory)--they really are the heart and soul of the establishment. The only thing I can think of that needs improving is the hotel's bathroom in that it needs to be renovated.

駅に近く、メトロでの移動に便利
深夜の到着でも、丁寧に対応してもらいました。受付から一度外へ出て現地の人が通り抜けに使う古路を使わないと行けない部屋に6泊しました。最初は古い感じで宣材写真と印象が違うかなと思いましたが、エアコンのの音がうるさかったこと以外は快適でした。系列ホテルやレストランでの割引きもありました。ただ、スーパーやコンビニは周りに無く、食事場も現地の人しか行かないお店しか無さそうで、英語力は必要かと思います。スナックやドリンクは奥まったgroceryで調達しました。アルラス駅からは本当に近いのでシルバーのノルカードを常用し、チケットマシンでこまめにチャージしながら過ごしました。スタッフのは皆さん良い人ばかりでした。日本語対応は無理ですがある程度旅を経験して自力で食事等をマネージしたい方には、すごくおススメです。

Ahmedia Heritage Guest House
This hotel is at a wonderful location close to souqs and metro link, abras and walking. The staff were excellent and tried in every way possible to help us. The breakfast is substantial and more than met our needs. Alena also offered to make omelets for us in addition to the usual presentation. The beds are comfortable, the room well laid out, and there was plenty of hot water for the shower. This hotel is off the main street and requires a little walking from the nearest taxi access (maybe 75 meters). Once we got our bearings in this location, we were grateful for the seclusion and relatively quiet location. The bedding and towels were of fine quality. This is not an upscale chain hotel; it's a guesthouse and we appreciated the intimacy.
