Really nice staff and awesome location. Awful beds and the hotel was in desperat need of some renovation. Good deal considering the price we paid, but those beds can dislocate any limb of the poor soul finding themself in need of some sleep. The staff was really nice though:)

Great location right beside vondelpark and close to the museums. 40 minute bit easy walk to Centraal Station, rooms are small but functional. Overall perfect for me and my friend for what we needed. Staff were very friendly.

We had a good stay at this hotel. I understand other guests reviews - the rooms are small, the place is loud, and a bit rundown. However, I thought for the location and price it was great. The staff are very nice and offer luggage storage. Probably wouldn’t have wanted to stay more than two nights though.

Great location near to the park and museums. Reception staff were friendly and stored our luggage on the final day. Decent sized room but a very tiny bathroom. The shower has no door so ends up flooding the whole bathroom. Room was not particularly clean, quite a lot of dust and dirty splashes on the furniture. Room did not get serviced during our 3 night stay but they did bring clean towels. Overall I wouldn’t really recommend this hotel, but if it’s your only option then it’s reasonably adequate.

The only good thing about this property was it's location. Despite the non-smoking signs everywhere the lobby and rooms reaked, the front desk employee was nowhere to be found when we were trying to check in and sleeping when we tried to check out. They clearly didn't clean the room between guests (just made the bed). There were stains on the bedding, hair and gunk in the shower, and it was smelly. The TV remote was broken and the hair dryer had melted into the wall... the front desk did provide a replacement upon request. And it's LOUD. People in and out of the lobby at all hours of the night and the walls are paper thin. And it was still pricey! Just spend $20 more a night and stay somewhere better.

The rooms are a little smaller than what we used to, and do bear in mind this is a 3 star. Room was clean, carpet had a few stains but it could have been because we were in the garden rooms. The bathroom is very small, not a great size if you are a larger than average person. That being said, it was very convenient for museums and for lots of bars and restaurants

It was also really small, the sink in the bathroom was so small that you couldn't even wash your face without getting the floor completely wet. We had a room with a "balcony" where you couldn't close the door properly and so it was extremely loud and cold at night.

Staff was lovely, room was okay, outdoor area behind the hotel was nice. We stayed in the annex, which was generally fine, except that there is absolutely 0 ventilation without opening a door (no windows, no vents, no fans, no AC). It was really hot when we were here (though I know that's not the norm!), so we ended up having to sleep with the sliding door open and barricading it with chairs. Not entirely their fault, but not a good night's sleep -- would avoid staying here in the hot season, or if you like any breeze at night.

Room too small, Harry Potter’s cabinet was bigger. Beside the bed was an empty coke can and a chips bag (not ours), the bed cushions looked not that clean and the shower splashed all over the bathroom, the only thing worthy, was that it was close to the Rijksmuseum
