Bra läge. Enkelt rum, få eluttag, kanska tunna vggar varför var det lite svårt att sova (man kunde höra allt vad hönder i andra rum, precis allt!). Men sängen var OK, badrummet var också OK.

The tiny room was clean enough and the shared facilities worked but bring your ear plugs. There is truly an entirety open ceiling above the rooms - each room has metal grating as a ceiling - so you can hear everyone in all the rooms, as well as the workings of the building.

THIS IS NOT A HOTEL. ITS IS A HOSTEL with shared bathrooms/showers. Only stay if you want to stay in hostel style conditions with plywood walls and can hear everything. The pictures make it look way more appealing than it is. Its an cheap place to crash if you just need somewhere to crash in Manhattan but be warned this is not a place to bring your wife, girlfriend or sister.

Great Experience at the CityNest New York, staff was extremely kind and helpful throughout my stay. Slept well here, highlight is Definetly the bed super comfortable. Location is perfect you had reach any point of New York, price to quality for New York is unbeatable

The staff were really friendly and made my stay extra pleasant, recommending spots to see and all round being lovely to talk to. The location is super convenient and despite having worries about the open ceiling staff were proactive in politely asking my over excited neighbor to be quiet after hours. Bed was HELLLA COMFY!! And the AC was just right.

Though the staff are individually great people, you can tell they are overworked; for example, the receptionist who was supposed to check me in left the premises to check in someone at another property of theirs, leaving me and another guest high and dry until the hotel's manager took over. Not a great look. The front door on the street has numerous (4 when I stayed) stop-work orders from the city for their construction activities. Again, not a good look. The room itself was very small even for NYC standards (only a bed plus 10 square feet or so) and had no private bathrooms; some other rooms do but surely can't be big either. The worst part is the rooms are more like cubicles than rooms, with an opening ceiling. This means noise and light from neighbors disturbs you, and HVAC is entirely communal with no option to change just your room's temperature. One of the bathrooms also has a threshold that is a tripping hazard. The lounge, being only a story above the streets of Chinatown, is very noisy. Overall, sleeping here was difficult, and it was a game of Tetris to keep my things organized in that tight space. Overall, unless you have no other choice, I cannot recommend this place.
