Lovely place for a quiet getaway on the Danish coastline. Hirthals has quite an interesting history that is worth checking out. The hotels is located perfectly on the seaside, with great sunsets to enjoy. Breakfast is very well arranged, small but everything you need. The restaurant offers a good selection of seafood and parking is free. Also perfect place to stay if you take the ferry to Norway!

立地や施設の状態、朝食は非常に良い。 　しかし、旅行者にとって致命的な欠点があり評価を下げた。簡単に改善できるのでぜひ対応 してほしい。 　ａ　室内に収納設備が一切なく、旅行荷物はベッドの上に置くしかない、 　　　単なる棚でも良いから物を置ける設備が必要。 　ｂ　同じく、椅子はあるけれど卓あるいは机がなく、パソコン作業や飲食はやはりベッドの 　　上しかない、不安定で体も辛い。 　その他細かい点もあるけれどこの２点が評価を下げる大きな要素であった。

B&B by the sea is essentially a B&b even if there is a restaurant on site. We had room 12 which turned out to be a 2 bedroom apartment with a balcony facing the ocean. The view was spectacular and it was very nice for the three of us to have two separate bedrooms. The room came with a breakfast buffet. I had expected a “ continental “ kind of setup but it was much more and turned out to be very nice with a large variety of offerings.

Alt i alt en fin overnatning på stedet. Det var let at finde og let at komme ind. Man taster en kode på døren. Der var en smule lydt, og gulvet knirker lidt på 1 sal. Ellers fine forhold.

Det var et lille men rent værelse med fin havudsigt. Badeforholdrne gjorde at hele badeværelset blev vådt ved bad. Morgenmaden var god, men vi havde en Meget dårlig oplevelse af aftensmaden, hvor vi havde bestilt pandestegt rødspætte. Først ventede vi i 50 minutter. Da fisken kom, var der ingen dampede asparages som bestilt, ej heller citron. Fiskene var slet ikke stegte og kartoflerne svampede. Køkkenet prøvede at stege fiskene mere. Det tog 15 min og tilbehøret var koldt længe inden da. Fiskene blev aldrig gode og vi måtte gå fra næsten uspist mad, men skulke betale fuld pris / øv

We stayed one night at B&B by the Sea in Hirtshals during our trip and had a room at the top of the house. The reception was very nice, and overall there is really nothing major to complain about. However, the room was very warm, which can be good to know during the summer. The toilets were located in the corridor directly adjacent to the room and worked well, but the walls were perceived as quite responsive and you could hear noises from the room next door. There was also no fridge in the room, which would have been handy for us during the trip. Breakfast was good standard and served in an environment with very nice views, which gave a very nice start to the day. Parking is conveniently located opposite the hotel. For electric car travelers, it can be good to know that we did not see any charging facility in place. In summary, a nice, well-run and personal B&B with friendly service, good breakfast and nice surroundings. Some less practical details, like the warmth upstairs and responsiveness, but for a shorter overnight stay it worked well for us.

The place itself was nice and the location was convenient for the ferry. However, we specifically booked this property and paid extra compared to other options because the listing said there was a washing machine. When we arrived, we were told there was no washing machine, which was very frustrating as we are on a long road trip and needed to do laundry. We also messaged the hotel through Expedia before arriving but never received a reply. Once there, it was almost impossible to reach a staff member, other than the girls working in the restaurant. Overall, nice place and good location, but the listing should be accurate and communication needs to be much better.
