Good location. Great service. Room amenities so-so

Great location. If you are taking the subway, take exit 4 from Sangdong station (Line 7). Will be spolit for food choices. Room amenities may be a little less than basic but the service staff at the front desk were all excellent and made up for everything lacking. Cleanliness was just about okay. We were offered free breakfast too over Xmas period. Do note that if you are travelling in winter, the hotel room does not come with heated flooring. There was a heater though.

For my Italian clients, I booked two rooms at this hotel, and they were very satisfied. According to their comments, the rooms were quiet and clean, the A/C worked well, and especially Alex Chung, general manager, was very polite and kind.

Great except a big flaw.

I will start by saying I would stay here again. The location was wonderful, near restaurants and the subway. The staff was very kind and welcoming. The bed and bedding was super comfortable and I slept well. The room was very quiet. Daily service was very good. For the money (I paid 77 a night) I found the value very good and overall very good. The only downside for me was parts of the bathroom needing cleaning. The glass, toilet and bathtub were all very clean. It was the bottom part of the bathroom tiles (at least a foot in length going up; as well as some of the grout between the tiles on the floor) that desperately needed scrubbing and around the tub needs caulking-and when I say desperately, I am not exaggerating. But, again, overall very pleased but I do hope they implement a new standard with the cleaning of the bathrooms. The breakfast buffet looked great, we just did not utilize due to our plans.

Great place to stay!

We wanted to stay outside of Seoul to be closer to our son and found this location also offered a neighborhood feel. The subway ride to downtown Seoul is 50 minutes. We went downtown 4 out of 5 days to see historical attractions, and still had time to see local sights, like a traditional Korean outdoor market in Bupyeong-gu. The hotel staff was excellent and very attentive to our needs as first-time visitors to Korea. We’d definitely stay here again.
