I liked the location. But the room wasn’t the cleanest. The tiled floor in the bedroom was very slippery. Toilet roll holder broken. Fans dirty. The host, Steve, was less then friendly if seen around the complex. Screen door on the court yard door was broken & dirty.

The soap container in shower was broken, which if not noticed posed a threat to injury. Shower head unable to be adjusted, OK if your 7 foot tall. Gentlemen in reception unpleasant, needs retraining in customer service.

Nelson Bay is a beautiful area but we were very disappointed with the standard of our accommodation. Our apartment was looking very tired, dowdy in appearance, needs a paint and refresh and new carpet which was very grubby in places. The particular apartment that we were in was very noisy and users of an overhead pedestrian walkway had a great view of our apartment as they used the walkway! I understand that we all have our own standards of cleanliness and presentation but I can't accept that this apartment was up to scratch in this regard. This was a very disappointing experience!

Location Location! My boys and I had a pleasant stay. The room was clean and tidy and contained everything required to have a trouble-free stay. The location of this motel is brilliant and within walking distance of the gorgeous beaches, marina, coffee shops & restaurants'. Very secure setting. We did not have to drive anywhere. Highly recommend.

Super friendly staff, secure parking (lock up), clean room (Covid clean), site is within a short walking distance from numerous dining and entertainment facilities, any request to the venue wasn't an issue and they even picked up on the fact that it was our wedding anniversary and left chocolates and a bottle of wine in our room.

On arrival with my young son was met by the elderly female front desk clerk with the words "we don't allow families here". Not a particularly warm reception. Room was ok, carpet was the type where you don't want to take off your socks. Killed a small cockroach in the fridge area. View from the balcony was the back wall of another building. Pool upstairs was full of dead bees. Was definitely not worth the $159 I paid.
