Room was clean. The hosts were welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was cooked to order with quality ingredients. A Coop is down the road and a Post Office. Also a pub in walking distance.

We loved our stay at this gem of a BnB. The massive bed and the hearty breakfast gave us the energy to explore the area and made any jet lag a non-issue. Sue and Gary are wonderful hosts and provide as little or as much interaction as you want and were very helpful with ideas for locale, especially dinner. Sawby is a cute English town and the locals were very friendly when we went for walks.

Super friendly hosts, made me feel home. Great room overall, comfortable bed, good shower and heating. Amazing freshly cooked full English breakfast and very nice chat with the owners to top this stay. Will be surely returning when in the village.

I needed a place to stay for one night after an evening event in Scunthorpe. Gary and Sue were welcoming and most accommodating to my need for a late evening return. Good clean room with iron and tea made available. Well worth the money.

The owners are perfect for their roles as hosts and cooks! They renovated this old building with plenty of history in the center on a quaint and charming village. She decorated it beautifully and the rooms are named after their own children and grandchildren. He is the friendly grillmaster who cooked us a huge and delicious English breakfast. They both were so helpful and cheerful in friendly conversation. They truly enjoy welcoming guests from around the world and opening their home to them. Our stay was a delightful peek into British home hospitality for a very reasonable rate. Highly recommended!!
