Excellent, super helpful, friendly staff. Lovely, spacious rooms. Very good swimming pool. Very good range of food for breakfast. Superb location for Orchard Road shopping and the MRT station for public transport both in the city and further afield.. Unfortunate that one of the two lifts was out of commission for a few days before it was mended, but the staff were very apologetic and we were given a compensatory, free evening meal at the Royal Plaza 5* sister hotel. All in all this is a terrific base for a visit to Singapore. It would be our first port of call, should we go back.

The 2 bedroom apartment was spacious, modern and clean. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. It was also central. About 5 minute walk to Orchard MRT. Would recommend the place to anyone

I loved the close proximity to Orchard Road, simple breakfast provided, friendly efficient service as well as a little goodie basket and drinks provided in addition to bottled water.

Everything was of a high standard and we really enjoyed our time there. Certainly would recommend. Very impressed with the staff and would like to thank them for their wonderful service.

There is a really lovely swimming pool. It is open until 10pm. Also the residences are so near to Orchard Road. The staff are friendly, happy and welcoming.

A good place to stay
Our second stay at 8 on Claymore. The apartment, though on the small side, was well appointed and clean. The provisions included in the tariff are a very nice touch. The breakfast, also included, is good with a nice array which varies on a daily basis. The pool is a good size and well maintained. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The apartments are well located near the corner of Orchard and Scotts Roads with easy access to Orchard MRT. We would thoroughly recommend 8 on Claymore.
