I would choose a different place to stay next time. It was disappointing. Breakfast was very good selection and quality. The room was very large and the bed was comfortable. Service was lacking. We were early for check-in and I understand that we may not be able to get our room. However, the hotel was very low occupancy because we barely saw anyone on the grounds for two days. Maybe 30 people at breakfast. Also when we did eventually get our room the floor was dusty and you could see where we walked so I asked that they send someone up to mop the floor. The restaurant selection was limited both in hours open and variety. The pool bar restaurant which we were most interested in was closed for renovations. I could forgive that if they made an effort to provide additional service. We sat at the pool and no one ever came to ask if we would like anything. When we finally did ask and flag someone down the service time was excessive considering we were almost the only guests at the pool. We were outnumbered by lifeguards. Our first order was ok and then we ordered chicken wings. It took 45 minutes to get them. Then they were cold and undercooked. There was raw chicken. We asked for a new order but if it was going to take 45 minutes not to bother. They said they would bring them right out. 45 later new chicken wings. We had also ordered a pizza the day before and it was a frozen pizza crust. There was no effort to make things right other than an apology From the chef. Far from 5 star

Excellent staffs and service. I was very sick during my stay at Vinpearl and constantly threw up and had diarrhea (it wasn't food poisoning for sure because my friend ate the same food but didn't get sick). The medical staff / nurse provided me with medicines that helped me a lot and carefully explained what each of the medicines were for and how to take them. The other staffs were also notified that I was sick, and they offered me some ginger teas and also brought porridge to my room, free of charge. Every staffs were very welcoming and kind. Also I loved the spa. Honestly you don't have to leave this place at all and can have a fantastic holiday just by staying here. 100% recommend.
