Great location, nestled in the wilderness but at the same time at a walking distance to the town and shops. Excellent and very pleasant staff- top marks! Nice but way overpriced hotel. No elevator, no TV (we rarely would use). No reading light by bed, though general lighting OK. Very noisy room due to poor sound insulation. Ear plugs provided, no slippers. Nice brook running right outside patio door was audible at night. Wonderful walking trails around property in the middle of a forest. Breakfast was ordered off a fixed menu, not a buffet. Very small portions. Comfortable mattress. Road from La Fortuna was just awful.
