We loved everything about the room it was clean. Staff not insight but messages back time was efficient. Lake view was excellent. The only thing that needs to b changed in the room we stayed in was the carpet. But otherwise very nice place to stay. Its a wonderful little town.

Staying in the city of Lake City, with a view of the lake, and walking distance around the lake and city from the motel, gives a feeling of upnorth Michigan costal, convenience, clean, and quaint.

The room was smaller but clean and well maintained the balcony was nice but starting to show wear. The view was amazing and overall it was a very peaceful stay. The mini fridge was pretty small but worked well enough for our week long stay. There wasn't onsite staff but they were very responsive and helpful and went out of their way to msg and make sure we had everything we needed and weren't having any issues and were very professional and friendly. Will definitely be staying there any time we're in the area.

lake was nice. i dont have pets, dont use showers in strange places. i read my book dont watch tv, did not use wifi that is available. Bed was fantastic, didnt not use refridgerator, or microwave. Fantastic place to just chill. I was seeing a cancer friend and this was a block from her. Location was really nice. loved the view. Had steps to go to the lake, but i cant do steps.

Do not stay at this property if u have dogs. They charge u $20 per pet which is understandable but after u check out, they claim your dogs left urine on the carpet and charge u an additional $100 for additional cleaning. There is no way u can prove your dogs didn't pee on the carpet. Plus they wait until a day after u leave to charge u for the additional cleaning. Also the landscaping outside of the sliding doors is very unkept and not manicured. When we stayed, the carpet was wet by the dinette set and sink. I assumed the carpets had been shampooed prior to our arrival. Also the toilet seat was loose and slid all around the top of the toilet. I will never stay at this place ever again. What an absolute scam and rip off!

The room was nice except for the mosquitoes and the bugs that were everywhere swarming the lights when you turn them on the pictures show a different back area. There’s no dock to walk on. They’re not very accommodating when you need a late check out they charge $25 an hour and they don’t work with you. You have to email everybody. You can’t talk to them directly and wait on a response there was a manager on site. I met her that last day. She was there for five minutes and gone. There’s no gift shop. It’s an empty building and there was some kind of crazy vibration going on in the room. I was staying on the last few days. It was hard to sleep. I heard it was a sump pump and the managing company said to keep it on it didn’t matter whether it bothered us or not, but the town of Lake City was very pleasant. The people they were nice. The food was good. Everything is walkable. All in all I couldn’t believe they charged $100 if you want your room to be serviced so I was afraid to ask for clean towels, but I did ask one of the staff that were there just to clean rooms and I did exchange my towels other than that I would probably go back.
