This was a perfect location for us when driving up from Boston to spend time in Acadia. It is a little farther from the park but that worked for us with our drive and it was more economical for a larger and nicer place. The apartment was clean and comfortable with a lovely garden view.

This place is an "undiscovered gem" along Route 1, beautiful and private, and perfectly positioned for travelers headed to Castine or Ellsworth, or farther downeast. RuthAnn and Mark were wonderful, welcoming hosts. We enjoyed spending three nights in our spacious ground-level apartment in a sunny patch in the Maine woods. Five Stars all the way! My wife and I would be pleased to stay here again.

Clean and charming with lots of unique decor inside and out. LOVED the comfortable king size bed! Very quiet location.
