Fint hotel, ingen by i nærheden og kræver en bil

Meget fint, rent hotel og super stort værelse med udsigt over vandet. Personalet taler dårligt engelsk. Ikke sandstrand med sten strand. Morgenmad ok, men begrænset udvalg. Ingen by i nærheden (minimum 4 km til nærmeste indkøb / meget lille by) og ingen offentlig transport. Det kræver en lejebil at bevæge sig rundt. Man kan spise på hotellets restaurant som eneste mulighed i nærheden.

Noisy and stressed

A nice hotel on the beach. Staff were good but they were very stressed in the restaurant as they were constantly running rather than walking. This affected the whole impression. We couldn’t use our balcony as we had two AC running full all the time. One of them we could turn off from our room, but the other AC was not ours. To noisy unfortunately.

Wonderful hotel

This hotel is beautiful both beach and pool. The restaurant and bars have stunning views and good menus. Just be aware there is nothing outside the hotel in walking distance and the restaurants you see on the site belong to the hotel. We loved it and was perfect for a few days

Nie wieder. Billige Ausstattung. Die Tür lies sich nur 45 grad öffnen und war so schlecht verbaut, dass rundum ein Spalt von 5 mm war ( Zimmer 65). Wir hatten genau so gut mit offener Tür schlafen können. Man hörte einfach alles und das in der Nähe der Bar

Det gyldne tårn

Flot hotel. MEN som vi sagde til hinanden, vi bor i det gyldne tårn. Hotellet ligger så det er umuligt at gå tur i området. Der fører kun en enkelt vej til hotellet, som ikke har et fortov og det er livsfarligt at gå på vejen gr. biler. Skulle man have en taxa til den nærmeste by kostede det 30 euro hver vej, ligeledes til toget. Der var ingen restauranter i nærheden, trods der på hjemmesiden står der ligger 2 med få minutters gang. Man kan faktisk ikke undvære en bil, hvilket vi havde fravalgt. Personalet var til dels venlige, men først de sidste dage oplevede vi smil f.eks. i morgenmadsrestauranten. Min mands kuffert kom desværre 3 dage forsinket. Dette er selvfølgelig ikke hotellets skyld, men man kunne INTET KØBE PÅ HOTELLET. På stranden kunne man have ønsket der var mulighed for at købe drikkevarer.

Alles war echt toll. Das komische war, dass der Mitarbeiter welcher mir die Koffer ins Zimmer gebracht hat nicht einmal Trinkgeld wollte. Personal sehr gut und das Hotel an sich ebenfalls. Absolut empfehlenswert!

I am listing my impression from the positive to the negitive. But to sum it up, I would not stay here again, despite some of the great things it has going for it. The staff was great and the food and, generally, the facility is very nice. Some challenges with English, but it is Italy! We had the beef filet and spicy pizza were excellent. The view around the bay is wonderful and the sound of the waves is wonderful. The beach is nice. It is a mix of small pebbles and rounded rocks upto a couple inches. Nothing really sharp, but not comfortable to bare feet - bring water shoes. There is a few small amounts of sand in places. There are some small fish to see if snorkeling, but not very colorful. The hotel is about 40 to 50 minutes drive from Palermo Airport (PMO). The hotel says it has airport transfer for an additional fee, however they refer you to 'a partner' giving you a phone number to call. We opted to just get a taxi when we arrived. The taxi charged us €191.00. I am feeling that was not an honest fare, but I could be wrong. As comparison we paid about that for each night at the hotel. The nearest opportunity is the rail station a 15 minute drive away with the train running into Palermo about once an hour. The train trip allegedly about 20 minutes. My biggest complaint was that there a party hosted on site with EXTREMELY loud music and DJ that went until 0100, we couldn't sleep. This ruined our short visit and greatly impacted my rating.

Great stay.

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. Room and hotel very clean. Pool is lovely with a range of seating to suit everyone. Breakfast is excellent both food and saff. Coffee is strong. Lunch and dinner are both delicious, however i think the menus need more of a selection. Pizza and local beers were the highlight. A special mention to Antonio at dinner service. He is exceptional ❤️
