Handy location
It was a pleasant stay. Once I'd moved room I was happy. Anywhere other than first floor has a mouldy smell. Place could do with a bit of modernising but was clean and tidy. To eat you have to leave the buidling to go up the steps to the bar and restaurant in a separate building. There was nothing spectacular about the food but it was eatable. It's not a place I would go to for a relaxing break but it was comfortable and close to family that I required.

it was a great location for what we were doing and all was okay. easy to get into the centre of Wigan by bus. good value breakfasts.

A very tired hotel that used to be a premier inn. The entire property is lacking in its up keep, the room I was given had mold in the bathroom and in the bedroom. Carpets need a deep clean or replacement, mattress also needs replacing. I would suggest if you need to find a place in this budget use newburgh. That’s where I moved to. Much nicer, clean and looks like they have had it cleaned up

The staff at the Mount were second to none!
Stayed at the Mount for a trip to a family wedding. The hotel staff were lovely and helpful. Living in London and having experienced 5* hotels there, the staff at the Mount surpassed the customer experience by far!!

Very enjoyable stay. My room was looking a bit tired, but it was fine. Shampoo bottles in the bathroom were empty, but that’s an easy fix.

One of the Bedroom lights wasn’t working. There was a constant wet patch on the carpet outside the En-suite. People smoking weed down my corridor!!! Hole in the dressing table? Flooring in the En-suite collapsing!!! No plug sockets near the bed?

A Wonderful Stay
Wondeful place to stay, clean, quiet and very welcoming. Wonderful helpful staff. The attached pub food was amazing and dinner and breakfast were consumed with glee! Will be staying here again, just perfect.

Hotel is to the back of the pub, quiet other than a bit of road noise, rooms were basic and clean however the previous occupants toy dinosaur was under my bed.. Staff on check in were very friendly and welcoming and the hotels itself smelt lovely. I would stay here again
