Amazing place nestled in a very quiet region, far away from the noise of popular tourist attractions.

Spacious apartment just minutes from Entrance 1. Walking distance to a restaurant for dinner and breakfast. The hostess was very knowledgeable about the water levels and areas of the park that is open/closed for weather.

Guesthouse is easy to find and about 15 minute drive to the park and about the same to Rastoke. Owners were waiting for me and check-in was fast. Space was large with a small kitchen and balcony. Kitchen had everything you need. Radiator heat in the room worked great. There was a basket of pamphlets in the room from local attractions in multiple languages. No housekeeping services - just info, I was fine with that. The towels are dried on a line and are stiff, but very absorbent. There are 15-20 stairs to get to the room. They do not accept credit cards in the off season - must have Kuna or Euro. I paid with a combination. I interacted with 2 ladies and both were friendly, helpful and spoke great English.

Quiet, complete facilities in a beautiful setting. Spacious and comfortable. Quick checkin. Cash only. Staff helpful on checkin but not available in the morning to provide local travel or tourist advice.

We are a family of five. The apartment was perfect for a quiet getaway. Our hosts were extremely kind and generous. They offered advice and even shared some food and drink with us. We extended our stay so we could take advantage of our time here.
