Overall this cabin is just terrific. We were only two people, but easily two couples or a family with kids could stay here. The location is rather easy to find with GPS, and once you get used to the tiny uphill road, you're good.
Incredibly close to shopping, entertainment, the Nat'l Park, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. A little over an hour to and from the airport. Fireplace, large cozy rooms, big kitchen, huge wrap around porch, lots of rocking chairs to sit on outside. The game room pool table and arcade machine work well. And the outdoor hot tub was a very nice fun touch. Central air/heat is fantastic and responds immediately when you make adjustments.
Yes, the mattresses on the beds could use an upgrade. No firmness at all. Yes the sofas in the living room should be replaced. Very torn up from years of wear and tear. Yes, only 2 out of the 4 TVs would work properly with the Roku set-up.
But overall, considering all the pros of this property, you'd be hard-pressed to find something better. If the mattresses alone ever get changed out, we'll be glad to come back. ;)
Worth the money 100%.
