Location is so good. I have felt safe and happy to walk around this neighbourhood of snacky food, restaurants, shopping and museums. The location between English Bay, Lost Lagoon and Coal Harbour is great for exploring. Transportation nearby is👍

This is a very nice city to visit. Staying in different areas each time we visited, found so much to do and see each time. We probably had over a week in total and this gave us the opportunity to use public transport in different ways too. Worthwhile

Vancouver has a lot to offer from the big parks and rides through to Granville Island which was great. The downside is the very sad and out of control drug problem around East Hastings Street, very sad version of humanity stuck on a spiral of drugs.

The city itself did not offer as many arts experiences as I was hoping for, but the dining options and the surrounding natural area were fabulous. If I go to Vancouver again, I will plan on spending more time doing outdoor activities in the mountains

Overall Vancouver is a beautiful city. I enjoyed its beautiful piers and beaches. However, some part of the city is not safe. I accidentally walked through a street full of homeless people and drug addicts. One of them even followed me for a while.

Not having been to Vancouver previously, we were pleasantly shocked by the stunning vistas surrounding the city. Add to that the food and restaurant choices reflecting every area of the world and you have the makings of an outstanding destination.

This is a great city but the homeless on the streets really is disgraceful. I've visited quite a few iconic cities around the world and I've never seen homeless and a drugs issue anything near to the problem here. They need help desperately.

Downtown Vancouver is very clean and well laid out. It's not hard to navigate. It can be a bit expensive. A seafood plate at a good restaurant will cost at least $35 Canadian. If it's a special or shell fish that cost can jump to around $85.

Vancouver at Christmas time was beautiful with the colourful decorations and lights, especially at Canada Place - the water front cruise terminal Gastown was a delight to walk through. We had an excellent meal at The Old Spaghetti Restaurant.

This was our first time back in Vancouver in 10 years and, as always, we found it to be lovely. The drive around Fraser Park is always worth the time, and we enjoyed walking along the harbor enjoying the comings and going of float planes.
"The property was amazing, very clean, central location in the heart of downtown close to all the shopping and restaurants. We were given free water bottles throughout our stay. Our check in was smooth and special thx to Mr Saini front desk who took his time to recommend dinner places to eat. We had a great experience and would def stay there again. "
"Staff was amazing. We had an early flight from Toronto and they managed to have our rooms ready by 12:30-1:00. Loved having our luggage taken from our hotel room straight to the cruiseship by the hotel. "
"The hotel is conveniently located in Vancouver downtown. A quick 8 mins drive to the Canada Place, a great place for evening stroll after dinner. If you are visiting Vancouver for the first time, I will definitely recommend the sunset here. The hotel stay was uneventful. Checkin was smooth and I took the Valet option for parking as there is no self parking available for long term. "
"Really enjoyed our stay at the Sandman for the Tate Mcrae concert. we had an amazing view of BC place and could see a bit of science world and the water. we didn’t use much of the hotel services as it was only a one night stay but would definitely stay again. the only thing that was a little confusing was the parking situation such as where to park and how to get there but once we figured it out we were good.
