Newly opened - and rooms generally in good condition, although the cupboards were a little battered and tired - marker pen marks over the furniture.
Room small but clean and comfortable.
Area a bit sketchy, and not much in terms of coffee shops etc anywhere near by.
The hotel also doesn’t offer coffee to buy OR breakfast (or food for that matter) apart from weak drip coffee and pastries until 10am, that are not the freshest.
Do not select breakfast as the pastries are free anyway - as I said no other breakfast is available.
Staff are friendly and helpful, and in general the hotel is good.
I would definitely stay again, as the price is extremely good for a hotel in NYC - and is convenient to get into mid town, just bare in mind the lack of amenities, and that there is no food available in the hotel.
