It is very beautiful property and meticulously managed. The ground is very clean and room is very clean as well. They have housekeeping three times a day so they constantly stop by and make sure room is cleaned. Breakfast has lots of options and staffs are very friendly. I really enjoyed to stay.

We spent our Whitsun holidays at the JW Marriott Crete with our young kids and had a great time. The resort is beautiful, located right at the quiet end of Marathi Bay. It’s incredibly family-friendly—the staff were amazing with the children, and the kids' pool is perfect since it's shallow, warm, and shaded by a sun sail. Our suite was also great, featuring comfortable sofa beds and its own private pool. The hotel restaurants are good but quite expensive, though there are plenty of nice, cheaper options right along Marathi beach. Definitely recommend it for families!

We had a wonderful time at the JW. The staff were fantastic and friendly. Everyone there was warm and helpful. We especially enjoyed talking to Angela at breakfast each morning. The property was modern and comfortable with multiple decorative pools. Our room looked straight into the ocean and the tall mountains behind. I was able to dive the elephant and seal caves which were fantastic. There’s a nearby dive shop. I highly recommend Blue Adventures Diving. The beach is small and quaint with nice chairs overlooking the water. Meals were excellent too. Thank you!

My husband and I spent a week here for part of our honey moon and couldn’t have been more impressed! It was truly the highlight of our trip. The hotel is BEAUTIFUL, the staff is amazingly attentive and friendly, amenities were outstanding, five stars all around! If you are looking for a place to stay around and relax, this is absolutely it. We didn’t want to explor Chania much, so this wasn’t an issue, but it is a bit far from the town. However, the hotel offers so many experiences to enjoy every day (wine tasting, snorkeling, water activities, cooking classes, a full spa, etc).

New property in Chania … exceptional facility and staff … superb FIVE star experience Enjoyed the experience immensely, even though they had been open for only a few months … they delivered an exceptional experience. We had the junior suite with a swimming pool, spacious and elegant. You almost don’t want to leave your room. Manos, the operations manager was warm, caring and welcoming. The facilities: 3 swimming pools with excellent seating, gym: state of the art, and multiple restaurants were exceptional. Thank you Marriott Chania

The hotel is new and beautiful. Good quality materials used. The area is so beautiful and the sea is perfect for snorkeling. Hotel makes you feel you wabt to be healthy and fit (nice healthy food options and nice fitness classes). Maybe not suitable for very small kids due the many rocks around (however many nice pools) but a fantastic choice for Crete- feels luxurious and quiet. Kids club staff is fantastic and although I was not so sure about kids club in the basement conference room (the outside designated kids club area is too hot in August) my kids loved it. Movie nights outside were very much appreciated! Amazing experience!

Tolle Lage für eine gepflegte Auszeit ab vom Schuss! Einzige Einschränkung: von Mo bis Sa mehrmals täglich während ein paar Minuten Lärm von Militärflugzeugen, was wir aber nicht als störend empfanden. Aus unserer Sicht 3 Schwachpunkte, die wir auch dem Hotel mitgeteilt haben: -sehr schwere Fenstertür zur Terrasse. Vor allem das Öffnen von aussen kann sehr anspruchsvoll sein. -starke, zentrale Klimaanlage (eigentlich gut), deren Steuerung aber noch nicht ideal ist. Uns war es in der Nacht entweder zu warm oder zu kalt, weil sich die Anlage nicht an unsere Temperatureinstellungen hielt. -eingeschränkte Privatsphäre bei Zimmern mit Pool. Sichtschutz gibt es nur auf eine Seite, zur anderen Seite hin ist man sofort im Blickfeld des Zimmernachbarn, sobald man die Nase aus dem Fenster hält. Da könnte man baulich noch nachhelfen um das Gefühl von Privatsphäre (nicht unwesentlich bei Zimmer mit Pool) zu steigern. Alles in allem hatten wir einen schönen Aufenthalt. Wer gewisse Mängel griechischer Baukunst übersehen kann, wird die schöne Lage und das Frühstück mit einer guten Auswahl qualitativ hochstehender Produkte geniessen können.

Amazing! Literally amazing all around! The hotel is new and modern. Very upscale and well designed. Great location. Not really on a white sandy beach, but the swimming area is great. Room was very large and well designed. Huge bathroom with spacious shower and a tub. Included breakfast was amazing - one of the best we ever had. The staff is so friendly and helpful and well trained. Everyone had a smile and super accommodating. Minor issue was addressed quickly and with class. This is one of the best hotels we ever stayed at and definitely the best hotel on Crete. Management at the hotel is doing a great job! We cannot be happier! Thank you!

Stunning setting and what we thought was going to be an amazing stay. Might be our fault for going to a hotel in the first week but as the week went on, the following happened: - charged £700 more because we booked via Expedia - why has this happened? - no systems internally are working, everything was difficult - washing took 2.5 days to happened, when we called up and asked where it was, they said they would find it and ring back but no response till we called the following morning
