In view of the current Covid restrictions, I believe the hotel and staff coped really well. The systems were sensible and well run.

Great location and great value

Beds were comfy and breakfast was perfectly cooked to order

Hotel was nice, the rooms looked recently refurbished and had a nice large TV which is always a bonus. No bath but shower was nice and powerful. Good location just off the a30. The restaurant had decent pub style food which wasn’t overpriced. The only problem we had was the wifi would not connect, when I informed the reception desk I was told they’d look into it, that was the last I heard from him. I then reported it the next morning to a different person on reception who said it must be my phone even though I informed them my wife and other guests were having the same problem. She then said she’d reset it when she had time....we never got connected during our stay.

This one is a Gem. I’ll be stopping here again next time I’m passing.

Comfy beds, spotlessly clean, great breakfast and attentive staff. Restaurant and bar - excellent food and great value for money. Would definitely return.

Lovely place and clean. Staff very friendly and food was great too. Would recommend it.

The property was situated in a central position and the golf course looked ok although we didn't use it. Room was clean although the drawers were full of litter from previous users. The pet is dated and very noisy from people above you can hear everything. We left a day early because of this as we didn't get any sleep but the lady did refund our money for the night we left early. Food in bar was ok but all fried and no fresh veg which the waitress said was because of COViD. Also they brought our meals wrong twice. Staff were get and helpful. Lot of kids running about in the bar area in evening.

Great place, wonderful surroundings and helpful staff

The server at breakfast (Paul) was attentive and upheld cleanliness standards well. The hotel were accommodating to a request to change the room to add a child although the cost agreed on the phone doubled upon checkout. We were houses in the block by the main road and although the room was an adequate size, the walls were so thin we could hear conversations going on in rooms around us. This combined with the traffic from the road made the room loud.
