Pleasant Stay

Check in was a little disorganized. There was no early check-in, so when we came back, everyone was trying to check in at the same time. The gentleman helping everyone check-in was very chatty making it an even longer process. There was always a line for the outside bathrooms and the pool was too warm. Overall, our experience was good. The room was nice and beds were very comfortable.

Beautiful and Historic Property

I have always wanted to spend time at this property. I have been traveling to KW for work or leisure most of my life but always stayed in properties closer to MILE 0. This property was always one of my favorites to look at. The history of the property is also something to behold. Original Hemingway letters are in the dining area and common areas throughout the property. The room was large and well equipped. The Seaside Cafe on the property is exceptional. The menu items were delicious. The continental breakfast serves enough items to get you out the door and exploring. The house manager Alex was friendly and accommodating throughout. The staff overall is excellent. Our views from room 107 were beautiful. There is a pool and cold water offered poolside all day. We were walking distance from every major attraction so the location is great. I really enjoyed the stay and look forward to returning. It's a historic property with friendly staff, at a great location and large rooms in the main house. You also have great food directly on premises. I HIGHLY recommend and will be back.

Decepção

A expectativa era grande, pois é um dos hotéis mais caros de key west! Porém, eles vendem uma coisa e entregam outra! Reservei um quarto com vista pro mar e café da manhã! Quando chegamos, disseram que o chek in era às 16h, até aí ok! Aproveitamos para dar um passeio e voltamos às 17:15 e nosso quarto ainda não estava pronto! E não para por aí… soubemos que nosso quarto não era na casa principal e sim, num adendo que era horroroso, e não aparece nas fotos. Não tem elevador em nenhuma das duas propriedades e se vc quer sossego esse não é o lugar, 6:00 da manhã o quiosque da praia começa a fazer barulho, trator limpando, árvores sendo cortadas fora os galos que começam a cantar as 5:30. O café da manhã é pessimo para o que se cobra!! Não tem cozinha! Ovo cozido, café de máquina, queijo embalado por fatia, pão embalado um a um e você ainda tem que recolher sua louça suja! Além disso os quartos não tem cortinas e as perssianas de madeira não fecham completamente e entra toda luz no quarto a noite.

Charming old home with history. Nice location right on the water. Very convenient cafe and bar on the property. Great location for strolling downtown Key West. Service was excellent. Very nice place to stay while visiting Key West.

Adults only

Picked this hotel because it was adults only. Place was beautiful with a nice heated pool open 24 hrs. Breakfast was good too. The only thing was the bed was very sqeaky (not good for our romantic night). It also needed more electric outlets. I would stay here again. Plus it had ghosts. 👍

Loved the annex

We had a wonderful stay! We were in the annex building across the street from the main property. Our room had French doors that led out to a wrap around porch that was a favorite spot before and after dinner to look out at the ocean or the happenings on lower Duval Street. Breakfast was self serve and offered fresh fruit, quiche, pastries, yogurt and more. Loved the pool and chairs overlooking the ocean. I would definitely stay here again!

It was a very nice place to stay. Very clean. Great staff. It is absolutely oceanfront however don’t expect a beach. There is a “ beach” area but it’s full of sargassum. Not ideal swimming
