Things didn't start well. Our flight was late so the transport arranged by the apartment wasn't there. Then we couldn't get into the apartment as the keycode provided didn't work, a phonecall sorted us with a new one but it was late at night and very frustrating. The apartment itself was clean, spacious and with plentiful facilities. The only downside was that this apartment (A6) is one floor above a shisha bar that stays open till as late as 4 in the morning! Take some ear plugs. The advertised pool was closed for a few days which seems to be a regular occurence from past reviews. The front desk is manned only by security staff but there is a daytime office only a few blocks away if assistance is needed, you can also store luggage there if required. The location is excellent, one bridge from the lively Granary Island with lots of bars and restaurants, and five minutes from the Old Town and all it's attractions. There are lots of local shops near the apartment to stock up on items for your stay.

Great location. I think there was a bar near us cause music played till late into the night. Just something to be aware of. The pool was under construction but we weren’t thee to swim. Gdansk is a beautiful town and this was a very great location.

The apartment was just what we needed. We stayed for 8 nights and I would have hoped to have clean towels and the trash emptied at least once during the stay, but when we asked the cleaning ladies they said that was not possible. We found silverfish in the apartment on our last day which I do hope we aren’t taking home with us. The pools was fine (max 20 person limit) made us have to wait for entrance various times, but it was nice to have the option of a pool. It felt very safe.

Background running water noise, and difficult to control the temperature of the space. The property is advertised as having a pool, gym, sauna and parking, but only the parking was available when we stayed, as the pool, gym and sauna were all closed during our stay. This meant our stay was missing some essential amenities, as we were planning to use them extensively. If we would have known this we would not have booked/stayed here, plus Expedia refused to relocate us as in the small print it said these were closed during this period (I don’t have time to read the small print on every property, many properties seem to do this - and they didn’t say anywhere either that the sauna would be closed too, not even in that small print - Expedia really need to crack down on this kind of behaviour as I won’t be booking through them again). No solution was suggested at the property either, which was particularly disappointing.

Innsjekking var tungvint da du må møte oppe en hel annen plass i byen 5 - 10 min gange fra leiligheten for å hente adgangskort. Vår leilighet var plassert rett over en kebab restaurant, hvor det var stø frem til 05.00 om morgenen. Dette medførte lite søvn for oss som er småbarnsforeldre. Vi skulle få sen utsjekk og en flaske prosecco som en kompensasjon for manglende informasjon. Men utsjekk ble ikke endret og noen prosecco kom aldri. Vi fikk skiftet håndduker under oppholdet en gang da vi bodde der i en uke, dette er i minstealder. Videre var personalet som kom med hånddukene lite hyggelig. Plasseringen av leiligheten er perfekt i forhold til å komme seg rundt i byen. Bassenget er ganske lite og vi måtte stå i kø opp til en time for å komme inn på grunn av mange gjester, videre er det mange løse flis i bassengområdet som gjør at man benytter det på eget ansvar i forhold til skader.

Fint og sentralt

Fantastisk beliggenhet i gangavstand til alt du vil oppleve i Gdansk. Eldre og litt slitt leilighet, dårlig varm luft midt på sommeren, men alt i alt et bra opphold. God sikkerhet ved inngang, noe som gjør at du kan føle deg trygg. God informasjon i forkant av besøket hvor du finner nøkkel osv, eneste bommen var at de hadde glemt og legge ut nøkkel/fjernkontroll til parkeringsanlegget, så vi fikk ikke parkert i kjelleren som planlagt. Fikk ikke kontakt med noen fra firmaet som kunne hjelpe oss, og vakten kunne heller ikke slippe oss inn med bilen. (god sikkerhet som nevnt) Fant oss et fantastisk p-hus på andre siden av elven som vi heller valgte og benytte oss av, men ble jo en ektra kostnad pga. dette. Leste i etterkant at leilighetens p-plass kun passer til små biler, så hadde ikke gått uansett me vår suv. Alt i alt et bra opphold som nevnt, og kan gjerne benytte oss av samme firma en annen gang.

Dejlig centralt i den gamle by. Men lidt støj fra festbyen var der aften og nat. Dejlig pool. Fin lejlighed til 2 voksne og 2 unge voksne børn.
