We always enjoy our stays at the Talbot. The rooms are lovely and so clean, the toiletries provided smell amazing, and the courtyard with the kitties to pet is a bonus!! We love the adjacent coffee shop!

Everything was top notch. Communication ahead of arrival was great. The room and the amenities exceeded expectation. Coffee shop on the premises is an amazing asset and their coffee is fantastic. The hotel is right off the Main Street and a five minute walk to restaurants and bars.

Loved the room, it was exactly what was shown in the picture. Loved having the screen door and the room was big with easy check-in/check-out. Will definitely stay there again when in town.

Overall, the area was perfect. The shops I wanted to see were so close that we walked. The small community parks were so close that I really enjoyed the walking trails. The hotel was so cute and cozy. The AC worked beautifully, and I melted into the bed and slept so well. This is one place I would come back to stay. Most of all, the coffee place right next door was great. The fridge was a good size, and the coffee maker worked well. (Thank you for having decaf coffee on hand).

Very lovely room in a older facility which has been updated. Nice linens, furniture, and personal touches like the book about the town of Taylor. Great a/c which was definitely needed. Only downside to me was the very perfumed toiletries. They were fancy Texas products but I prefer less scent in hand soap, lotion and body wash.

Oh my! This was perfect spot for visiting Downtown shops. LOVED the COURTYARD. Room was spacious. Liked the walk-in shower but a grab bar on wall would have been nice. LOVED the COFFEE SHOP next door. Would definitely stay here again.

I loved how quiet it was and how easy the checking in and out process is. The room and the bathroom was nice and spacious definitely worth paying for. I love the sitting area outside as well makes it’s feel like it’s your own front yard. And the cafe was just a few feet away it was perfect!

They had a leak under the building causing a bad smell and warped floors. They have fans next to several holes dug beneath the foundation. It's still a great place though.
