We have stayed here many times and never have I seen this place so bad. The majority of staff really couldn’t care less.
The night we arrived to our apartment, we notified the staff that the fridge freezer was frozen over. We were there 5 nights and nothing was done about it.
The restaurant was not open still or the bar. The Hotel was full with a lot of people attending an Army reunion. The money they would have lost because of that would have been thousands. Probably cheaper for us though as most men just bought a slab and drank that in the common area. We bought nibbles and they were happy.
Not much around there that people in their 70’s could walk to for dinner.
The place needs a good paint and clean. Obviously they are renovating level 3 and it is a bit of an eye sore. We were told by staff that all the apartments are privately owned and that it is up to them to service and maintain. Well if you own 323 there is a bit of work to do to bring back up to standard. Tap in bathroom leaking continuously, shower is so old and difficult for Seniors to step up into, washing machine clicks straight into a new cycle if you don’t catch it straight after it is finished, carpets need a good clean, walls at least need washing down if not painting. Microwave very dangerous tucked in corner that is almost unreachable. Stove top was disgusting. Sink in kitchen also in corner and difficult to wash dishes. We had to go shopping for dish washing liquid, cloths and garbage bags. Outdat
