good view, bus available to sightseeings
Walking distance to the national museum and Heiniken Experience, and one local market. Bus stops to most sightseeing places within 5 minute walking distance. We got a room with great river view and the room is very well equipped with wifi. The room and the building is very clean. The only shortage is that the stairs are super super steep, like most of the others in Amsterdam, and there's no elevator. So if you have a heavy suitcase, think twice (though the staff helped us bring our luggages up and down, it's still lots of work.)

Logement correspondant parfaitement au descriptif, très bien situé. Le communication a été parfaite et l'hôte est très sympathique et très réactif. Nous avons été ravis de notre séjour à l'Amstel Corner et nous n'hésiterons pas à revenir si nous repassons par Amsterdam.

Plan to return
Fokker is a great host. Helped with bags upstairs, spent time with us to ensure we were comfortable with amenities, recommended restaurants and got us pointed in the right direction for our next days landed tours. Beds were very comfortable which was welcomed after a full days air travel. Perfect location and we walked as far as central station without issue.

This property feels more like a rental. We stayed in the honeymoon suite, which was the top floor of this home. The manager and the cleaning lady were really friendly. The building is very secure, needed 3 keys to get up into our room. The room looked just as in photos. Plus it had a mini fridge that we were happy to have. Very walkable area. The bathroom was very pretty. Really enjoyed our stay. Would love to stay again

We stayed in the Duke Suite, which is a lovely conversion of an attic room . This is reached by climbing three sets of very steep narrow stairs- which should be borne in mind if you're not so good with stairs or have very heavy bags. The room had lots of Velux windows and a ceiling fan for ventilation - with a kitchenette. This is conveniently located for the Museums , and near the tram lines too.

We had the Dream Room which I believe is the smallest of the rooms at Amstel Corner. It was small but it was cozy. Comfortable bed, efficient kitchen and the bathroom shower was luxurious. We will definitely stay there again!
