I just love this hotel, and always return when in the area. The location is perfect - next to the beautiful river path, castle and shopping. The staff are all top notch, especially those in the pub. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. The food is excellent. Always a very pleasant stay!

6/10 不錯哦

Overall not a bad stay with a pleasant dinner in The Library and friendly, helpful staff. Nice public areas. However.. extremely noisy air con units outside our bedroom...went off around 11 (requested by another guest I think) but came back on at 6am. Impossible to ignore! We were in a twin room (all that was available on booking). One mattress was hard and had seen better days. One comfy chair between two. Breakfast wasn't good. Scrambled egg aws a bit cold and unappetising with under-done toast. Plastic packs of jam and no vaor toast. TV on including sound.

The stay was wonderful and the staff went out of their way, BUT from the pic we thought we were staying in a thatched roof hotel and instead it was a large 3 story hotel.

This is a very nice, comfortable, well-managed hotel right in the center of Cahir. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It's in easy walking distance of the castle, numerous coffee shops, and restaurants. The hotel restaurant is also quite good, and there is a substantial breakfast available. Our "first floor" room was a significant walk from the reception, up and down several stairs, even after we were on the first floor, but that is just the way the hotel is put together. There is also a car park behind the hotel.

4/10 一般般

Dommage.

The hotel is an attractive building in the centre of the town, looking over the main square. There is free parking to the rear of the hotel and elsewhere in the town. The room was comfortable and clean with all the facilities you'd need. Breakfast and dinner were both excellent. All the staff were very friendly. The bar/restaurant in the hotel has a friendly atmosphere, serves good food and drink for a reasonable price. The hotel is with in walking distance of local parks, golf course and Cahir Castle.

Front desk staff helpful. No lift so stairs to rooms but staff did carry luggage. Convenient location, lovely dinner in bar. Close to Irwin’s for drinks and music. Not sure why but we were told not to drink tap water and had to carry water from bar. Very close to Cahir castle.
