THE BLOW DRYER SHOCKED ME

My boyfriend and I booked this for our first anniversary together and I cannot stress enough to not book this listing. There was trash from people before us, back door was broken to get to the pool, air conditioning didn’t work (it was so hot inside that the glass was all fogged up it was like a sauna), and the blow dryer in the bathroom SHOCKED ME when I tried to plug it in, my boyfriend heard the sound of the shock loudly from two rooms away. Horrifying to say the least and when I reached out to the hotel, of course they say they would get back to me shortly and never did and now are ignoring my texts/calls. Insane waste of money we could have stayed anywhere else and it would have been better than here.
Crazy this is the blowdryer they left in unit attached to the wall for people to use

The listing photos showed a beautiful, open space with views of the pool and yard, but the windows were painted shut, making the place feel closed-in and box-like. It also wasn’t very clean—the floor was dirty, the couch smelled, there were no mats, little space for towels and toiletries, no welcome/information package, etc. Check-in was beyond frustrating. We sent 5 messages to our "host Jackie": the day before check-in twice, the morning of again, and during the \(6+\) hour drive. We made calls and left voicemails to find out how to check in—with no response! We had to get the entry code from another office. We then asked that office if they would be open to perhaps assist later. We had trouble finding the property and called for directions at 4:30 PM, but again no one answered. We left a voicemail that we couldn't find it, but no one ever called back. Property management was completely unresponsive to our needs but expected immediate action from us. We reported a backyard tarp collecting a massive amount of water and sent a photo showing it looked ready to burst. The host simply told us to contact the "local team," even after we explained that the local team was not responding to us. Yet, when they needed our car moved just 10 inches for a neighbor, they contacted us immediately and asked us to leave our tour to come back and move it—which we did.
