Magic location at Merimbula

Would have been great to stay longer at this beautiful location. A terrific holiday park with plenty of activities for all the family along with beautiful pools. We were happy with our cabin as well, it had everything required for a comfortable stay.

The park was just absolutely ideal for anyone wanting to relax. Its facilities were some of the best I have seen. It was particularly well suited to those with children as there were a number of play areas which would suit children from the very young to the not so young. Everything was very clean. I believe the staff took a great deal of pride in the park's appearance.

We spent 3 nights in the Waterview Villa 1A. The day before check-in, the property sent me an email with forms to fill out due to covid and also for a faster process upon arrival. As we checked-in, I saw a sign that the main swimming pool (including the toddler pool) was shut for the entire 2 full days that we were there. This is the swimming pool that they use as a selling point and features as their main picture. We booked this property because of the appeal of the swimming pool as opposed to other properties we were looking at for similar price. Hence a very big disappointment and bitter taste as I checked in. They could have emailed to inform about this and we could have either cancelled or postponed our visit. After unpacking, I decided to go back to reception and asked for a late check-out. They were kind enough to give us an extra hour and said that we were welcome to stay and use the facilities after handing in the room key. We ended up having a quick late afternoon swim on day of arrival and another quick swim before check out. It's a shame because my toddler loved the swimming pool so much. The Waterview Villa 1A was nice and spacious for us(2 adults and a toddler). Everything seemed clean except for the fact that there was a cockroach in the 2nd bedroom(but that could have also come in anytime) and the top bunk bed window needs some cleaning (quite dusty). Overall enjoyed our stay, friendly professional staff and will probably be back again.

Would be good for families with kids.

Park looks good for families as large pool and waterslides. Cabin we had was small and basic. Lots of Birdlife around park.
