I made a reservation of the best room there is in this hotel - paid extra! When I was checking in they wanted me to pay for the the room again directly as they said they didn’t receive that payment I did through the Hotels.com... long story short, I got to the room and looks like there hasn’t been anyone in that room for awhile as there was a lot of dust everywhere. I’m allergic to the dust and when I came in I shocked I’m typically a very low maintenance person and don’t complain about anything, but in this case it’s a must! So, I just kept my mask on till I wiped everything down myself.... took a shower and just went to bed. Shortly after I had an severe allergic reaction to the point that I had to use and inject an EpiPen. This story doesn’t end there.... later this hotel is working on the “5th start” they were adding a Casino and entertainment to this place. This involves A LOT OF NOISE!!!! All building was just shaking severely! And hammer gun sounds from 5am-9pm. I was on the business trip and had to run my meetings. I was not even possible!!! - I was receiving a lot of complaints about the background construction noise. SPA - they charge you a lot but you will never get the top-notch service. I was disappointed! They did my pedicures in the tiny unsanitary bucket. I had to raise my feet up high on the shaking stool. You can’t even relax there as you feel like you will fall. It’s not worth it! $70 for a French pedicures in the bucket. There is more

nice hotel. They have a really nice pool in basement that has beautiful decor. The hot dry sauna was on but steam room was never turned on for a number of days I was there. The pool is only open to hotel guests from 9 am to 1 pm. There is no life gaurd. They will always tell you that it is reserved for other people from 1 pm to 9am. Somehow there is a businessman who keeps paying guests out of this special pool after 1 pm. This is the strangest policy that I have ever heard of. The hotel restuarant " avenue" was closed when I was there. Apparently if you stay at the hotel, you can get into the strip club princess downstairs for free. I did not test this statement. The price of this hotel is higher than other compareable hotels in kiev that I have visited. The location is nice, and street is central. The fitness center has broken equipment that I wish they would fix. The highlight of the hotel is the pool in the basement that must have cost a fortune to decorate but is limited in availability.

Excellent service and staff. Room service was excellent and we appreciated the excellent rooms and view. We were running late at checkout and really appreciated the flexibility provided to us. This was our second stay, and I think that we will be back!

Staff are friendly and will help you out when required to do so.

Again gestapo mentality when checking out - had an extra night which i paid via hotels.com - when checking out shouting: YOU HAVE TO PAY AN EXTRA NIGHT. Sorry, here is the hotels.com booking, do NOT have to pay and sent you yesterday via email copy of the payment. Hmmm Gestapo/KGB calls someone, after 5 minutes: hmmm you still have to pay the city tax. Ok, another 5 minutes and simply left after paying that. WIFI is a disaster and basically impossible - I was in 2 different rooms, and in both WIFI did not work most of the time so had to use my cellphone.

requested a business room with a king bed, checked in 2 hours earlier for extra 35$ and they got me room that wasnt even cleaned yet, broken glasses and trash everywhere, got back to receptionist and they gave me a basic room, not a king bed but two twins put together... too small of a room in general, literally no place to open a suitcase other then on top of the bed

Lousy reception and registration. Take ages, very unfriendly
