Plans with a friend changed, but able to change accommodations to meet needs as I brought my small dog. Very clean room with daily refresh as needed. Best bed in a pet friendly room. I am a new dog owner, and at other hotels a pet friendly room has meant a very bad bed. Not the case here.
The wifi was not great. I even switched browsers and some other tricks. I could check my email, map program, and calendar. I could not look at websites for other local destinations to make plans. The websites would not load at all.
The shower had adequate water pressure in the nicely sized toilet-shower room. Nice to have the sink outside the toilet-shower room if traveling with a partner. The room was small, as these older boutique hotels can be. It had a queen bed that was difficult to walk around. I saw some other guests with canes and walkers, hope their rooms were larger for safety reasons.
I expected a staircase up to the floors with rooms. Be warned the stars are steep and have high risers, so it is a bigger step each time than you might have at home, and there is only a railing on one side.
The location was convenient, if the parking was not. Cute little downtown that had a farmer's market the Saturday I was visiting.
