While I would like to say that our stay was great- the reality is that it was not. The room was not very functional: no luggage racks, one chair which was not very comfortable, no functional tables to do business at nor functional night-stands. The shower was far to big for the bathroom and cold when taking a shower, there were no towel racks to hang our clothes or wet towels. The food area was fine- the coffee hot and good, the breakfast offering was appropriate and I like the fact that we could cook there, but not much seating area. The railing was dangerous with an end of a very large nail exposed at the end of the railing that was being repaired. The stairs were very steep and railings on both side of the stairway is needed. The owners were slow to respond on a couple things, including both calling and answering the doorbell. I left a message on voicemail @ parking and it took over 24 hrs for him to respond. The location is amazing, but there were too many negative things for us to consider coming back to this BNB.

My stay at House 5863 was mostly positive but also a little strange. First thing that turned me off were there "shouting" emails (using ALL CAPS) a couple of days after I was already charged, saying that if I didn't send a photo of my driver's license the reservation would be cancelled! Not very welcoming. Would also update your listing to indicate that there's no front desk. Guests are provided with a phone number to call and an email. On the plus side, it's in a great area. Easy walk to Andersonville. There was a very well stocked kitchen with pastries, eggs, lots of snacks, soda and water. My room (Room 2) was small but modern and clean...except that there was a very obvious stain on the comforter. The other linens appeared clean so I just didn't use the comforter but did leave a note for housekeeping. My bathroom (across the hall) was very clean, with good products. Oddly, the shower liner didn't reach the bottom of the shower and the shower mat was wood...so water leaked on the bathroom floor when I showered. There were a couple of places to sit outside, which were nice and made you feel like you were outside the city. But no "beach bar" that I could see!

This place is awesome, what a concept and cool business model. It felt like a luxury hotel for Airbnb prices. Definitely recommend and we'll be repeat customers. Great locations, awesome amenities.

Great place to stay; quiet location; comfortable bed; will stay again

This location was great...easy access to places to eat and have fun. Close to beaches, yes beaches and the lake. It was very quiet with every thing we needed. Would love to stay again...
