Comfortable- Free Parking and No Resort Fees
Inn on Grove offers a no frills option for lodging in the expensive San Francisco area. The room was small but comfortable for our one night stay. The bed was comfortable. The TV worked well and offered Netflix streaming for those with a subscription. The bathroom was small but adequate. The shower water ran hot with plenty of water pressure. A positive plus was free parking and no annoying and expensive resort fees. We had a morning medical procedure at UCSF and this was a perfect location for our needs.

excellent hotel
Here for UCSF medical center and didn’t know the area. I feel very lucky to have booked our room here not only is it ten minutes from the hospital but it feels safe and cozy. Management and employees have been very accommodating and gave us a break with parking a little longer than checkout time. Rooms are very clean and relaxing. There is no additional charges for parking, using the refrigerator, etc. Again very grateful for this place in such a stressful time.

Front desk staff very friendly and accommodating. This stay gave us very comfortable beds, warm and clean bedding, quiet neighborhood, which is very walkable. Many places to eat, friendly store operators. Love that parking on site was available for no extra charge. This is an older property that appears to be fairly well maintained.

Great find--clean and comfy!
What a great place! This is not a fancy hotel, but it is in a great location, my room was sparkling clean, the bed linens were crisp, and the towels were fluffy. The room was cleaned every day. The owners and staff were all extremely kind. The room has a microwave, fridge, soaps and shampoo and conditioner. My only suggestions: invest in an ice making machine on the premises and include at least one ceramic mug for use in the microwave. (There is a coffee maker, but for us tea drinkers, water unsullied by coffee is a must!) I will definitely be back!

Great location, parking and cost
Had a great stay. The owner of the motel was incredibly helpful and gracious. We needed a parking space and he came out and was able to locate one on the street for us. One of the advantages of the hotel was that they offered parking. This is rare in San Francisco. Parking is at a premium. The room was nice, great location to activities. The beds were comfortable. I will definitely be staying here again when I visit San Francisco with my family.
