On a whim we decided to go to the Thanksgiving Dallas Cowboys game. Always having good experiences at Drury Inn's in other cities, we were pleased to find this newly built Drury Inn within walking distance to AT&T stadium. If you've been to a game, parking & driving to the stadium is chaos! Luckily they had a few rooms left and we booked it. Was overly impressed, room was super clean, nice size, great options for food and drinks on the property. Always enjoy the free happy hour and horederves we've come to thoroughly enjoy each night of our stays and as usual the free breakfast choices were plentiful. Definitely will stay again and would highly recommend this hotel. On a side note, we did walk to and from the stadium and felt safe as many others staying at the hotel also were walking to and from stadium. The only inconvenience we experienced, the game ended after the happy hour/horederves time period, so we ordered dinner from the hotel restaurant, it took 2 hours to get our food. We took into account that others who also went to the game also were doing the same as us, plus it was Thanksgiving so not many restaurant choices around town. Due to these circumstances we didn't hold this against the hotel. It was obvious, their kitchen must have been overwhelmed because there must have been at least 100 people and families trying to order food. They apologized profusely for the delay, but we told them we understand and could see how many people were also waiting.
