Relaxing solo trip

Updated throwback.
The atmosphere is a throwback to the 1960's, shuffleboard court and all, but the property was spiffed up and the rooms inside were updated, clean, and nice. The price was a bargain compared to the other available options. Running late, I had planned to leave at 7AM but the continental breakfast didn't start until 7:30AM. When I was dropping off my room key I crossed paths with the staff member with the breakfast cart. When I nicely asked to take a single item with me on the run, she said absolutely not. This left an unpleasant ending to an otherwise positive stay.

Decent
We only were there for one night, the people in the front office were very nice & friendly. The hotel is fine, it was clean & quiet when we came home from a wedding at 11pm. Parking isn't the greatest. We did not take advantage of the pool or the continental breakfast because we were only there for a short time. I'd stay again if I had to but not sure I'd be comfortable for longer than a night or two.

Pleasantly surprised 10/10!
Check-in was prompt and efficient. Even the dog was friendly and welcoming! The room was showing its age, but IMMACULATELY clean. South Florida, fairly close to the beach and I did not see a single bug. This has to be one of the cleanest places I've ever stayed. The fridge and microwave were spotless and worked like champs. Comfy bed, quiet toilet flush, secure fast wi-fi, great selection of TV channels, all the basic amenities. Many of them better than other places I've stayed that were double the cost. I wish the door had shut a little better-small gap at the lower edge made me a little nervous, but small personal safety precautions made it tolerable. I would 10/10 recommend and stay here again.

Room was clean and comfortable with spacious kitchenette and full size fridge. The rollaway bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept in, it was a good quality foam pad, not a terrible thin mattress with squeaky springs as most are. The best feature of this resort is the rainforest landscaping around the pool and breakfast nook area. It felt like a little oasis and more charming than a chain hotel. The breakfast was well stocked and provided many more options than a typical continental hotel breakfast - hard boiled eggs, bagels and donuts, granola bars, fruit, condiments, juices, applesauce, etc.

Never again
It's the first hotel I have every stayed in which did not have a real blanket. I won't even say anything about the toiletries. To say that the management of this establishment is being cheap is to say nothing. The breakfast area is basically without air conditioning, which in Florida is a crime

I was most impressed by the cleanliness of the room. I wasn't sure what to expect. And I certainly didn't expect a full size refrigerator and stove in a galley kitchen! The room was spotless, comfortable and safe. We will certainly stay at Fairways again when we are in town.

Best choice to stay!
We enjoyed our stay very much, the free breakfast in the hut was fantastic with all the different choices and we had a table and chairs outside our room where we enjoyed what we chose to eat! The place was quiet and relaxing yet it was located just off the main strips which made it convenient to drive anywhere! Definitely would choose Fairways Inn again!
