Terrible this place was disgusting. The room had old popcorn on the floor and stains on the sheets. The headboard was peeling. We went to the oil and the water was murky looking. There was finger nails and food all over the ground at the pool. The hot tub was broken and there was peoples braids in it. The pool had bandaids in it and chunks of hair. The paint was peeling of the walls and the staff was rude. The free "breakfast" was a banana yogurt and juice. And only 1 of each. -10 stars

Minus 5 stars and very disappointed. I have stayed at this location prior to this visit and was satisfied and bookmarked this as a favorite. DO NOT BOOK HERE. The staff was nonexistent and hotels are still not providing daily room service. No wash clothes on day two is not acceptable. If hotels are going to provide less service then prices should reflect that. Holiday Inn Express should take more pride in their brand. I will and with other options I will definitely book somewhere else for future visits to Chicago.

The pool had globs of hair floating in it. The room had a strange smell and there was hair in tub and sink. I had to get my room card reprogrammed 4 times during a 1 night stay.

Our first night was bad. Someone tried to check in to our room at 2am while we were sleeping. Then the desk clerk called at 2:30am to tell me I left my id at the desk. Then at 7:30am the housekeeping knocked on the door to clean the room and told us we were checked out on his list. The hotel only charged us for 2 nights instead of 3. Also in the email to confirm our room it didnt say there was a deposit upon checkin.

The hotel was rundown. The website gave a very false impression of the condition of the hotel. We reserved a room with two double beds in a suite. We got a king with the second bed being a pullout sofa bed with a horrible mattress. The room was reserved for 3 adults and priced for such. We had no bedding for the sofa bed nor towels for 3. We had to seek out the additional items, make the bed plus it was a handicap accessible room which was not requested. The breakfast buffet shown on the website in reality was a bag with a muffin, granola bar and bottle of water. The pandemic restrictions were lifted June 11.

this was a horrible experience we had a confirmation for 1 night two double bed suites we got there and i had to pay extra because the second room was misplaced and i had to upgrade one of my rooms into a king size suite also while sleeping we found bed bugs crawling on one of the children we have pictures. We get moved to another suite and when inspecting the new room there was a bedbug on the wall. No sleep was gotten by anyone in my group due to this situation,it was honestly due to pure negligence of cleaning staff and the hotel itself. From dealing with bedbugs,to kids banging on our door, and elevators filled with vomit the stay was nothing more than a nightmare.

Great location, comfortable, but outside of the room itself was dirty. The room itself was clean and how I expected a hotel room to be. But the grounds, hallways elevators, and pool were disgusting. We stayed here with our family and unfortunately all the kids wanted to do was swim, and the pool was just dirty. The location was great a 12 min drive to Brookfield zoo and was located with in lots of shops and restaurants!

This was the worst hotel far as Holiday Inn the entrance was dirty, room had hair in sink, toilet, someone had sunflower seeds in garbage which should’ve been a new bag the chair in room had spots, needs a remodel or updated, I paid for my room third party and the clerk charged me again didn’t know until next morning he told me only for $50 hold but my card was charged $175 he was rude spoke with manager and she wasn’t any better than him she was rude also. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone I would’ve rather sleep in my car. My nephew and a couple other guest was complaining to the manager who isn’t any help not sure why she is the manager. I was just discussed with this whole trip once arrived and seen how nasty it was in the room. NEVER AGAIN!
