A place to come back
This was an amazing experience and the highlight of our trip. The hotel is nested in the jungle of Yucatan: luscious vegetation, old ruins that witness the passage of the Mayans, a Franciscan community and an old hacienda. Is exquisitely remodelled to blend with the surroundings, with modern and airy architecture, many beautiful pools, and walkable paths. The food is amazing and healthy and the staff warm, welcoming and efficient. We have the impression that is more than a hotel: we noticed various groups of guests in yoga and meditation retreats, coexisting with tourists like us in harmony and respect.

Shambalante es un lugar increíble, es una sorpresa constante para los 5 sentidos…por mucho superó nuestras expectativas..cada rincón es mágico..la naturaleza exuberante..la comida increíble…la comodidad, la paz, el descanso..Y sin duda, Ricardo y su equipo son espectaculares, te apapachan desde que entras, te hacen sentir en casa y hacen que la estancia sea de 100, gracias por todo!!!!! Es un regalo haber descubierto este lugar y, regresaremos muchas más veces.

Volvería siempre hermoso y mágico lugar
Una experiencia mágica fuimos en pareja a desconectarnos de todo , las personas aman su trabajo siempre estuvieron pendientes la naturaleza es mágica ver las estrellas la fogata y esa ceremonia de barro que nos ofrecieron fue increíble para regresar pronto a recontarse la habitación estuvo genial agarramos la de la tina y fue súper !!! Si buscas desconectarte y disfrutar la naturaleza, este es el lugar para ti, cuentan con 4 piscinas al aire libre, temazcal y salas de yoga equipadas, la comida está deliciosa, recomiendo mucho desayunar, comer y cenar ahí, lleven sandalias o tenis cómodos para andar por todo el lugar.

This is an extraordinary place, but it is not for everyone. If you are looking for silence, a place for reflexion, a place where you can hear the sounds of nature, and see the stars at night, this is it. The grounds are impeccably maintained, the service is excellent and non-intrusive. We stayed in a suite (a little house), the excellent design shows everywhere. There is only one restaurant, the food is vegetarian, simple and excellent. The swimming pools are wonderful, and just exploring and listening to the thousands of birds in the jungle is amazing. If you are looking for loud music, alcohol and lots of people this is the wrong place.
