Residenza Il Villino is a true match for Florence
The history filled walls, ideal location, the calm environment, the staff's dedication to the customers' needs and the attention to detail, particularly to make the amazing breakfast at the courtyard fit for royalty. I had personalised tips on which areas of the city would provide the real feel/ non-touristic experience, this made a huge difference to me, as the city can be quite overwhelming with so many people either asking for money or forcing sales on you. I am pleased with my stay and completely recommended it if you are looking for somewhere calm and mature. Thank you!

Comfortable B&B with friendly staff
We recently stayed here for 4 nights and had a great time. The B&B gives a feel of staying in a local setting with a courtyard. The rooms are spacious and the breakfast in the courtyard is very nice. The breakfast is simple but comprehensive and includes toast bread, fruits, cereal, scrambled eggs and juices. The reception is only during the day time but getting in and out of the building at nights is fairly easy. One thing to remember is that this is a few minutes away from the busy streets, in case thats a requirement for some. One day we left the room after the cleaning staff had gone back but the person at the front desk was kind enough to go over and beyond and change the sheets etc himself. Thank you for that. Overall we had a comfortable stay and recommend it.

This B&B is a gem.
From check in to check out, our stay was great!! Caesar checked us in, walked us up the five flights of stairs to our room, and then made another trip up to our room with an ice pack for a twisted ankle. Breakfast in the charming courtyard was very nice. The room was small, but had a great view from the window and was plenty big enough for two people. We would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a quite place that is not too far from any of the sites to see in Florence.
