貝斯特韋斯特城市中心飯店

The location is not that far from the centre (Bruxelles is quite small), however the area is very unsafe and looks neglected. The view from the window of our room is frightening (picture attached). At first sight, the room looked nice and tidy but as we went into the bathroom we found hair in the bathtub as well as inside the bed. However this wasn’t the worst part. In fact, there was no duvet on the bed and since we are in February we called the reception asking to get one for the night. The receptionist was quite rude and started raising his voice, saying that we didn’t need one because we already had the white blanket and the heating and that he wasn’t even sure they had any extra covers in the hotel. Only when we insisted for long time he then said he was gonna “see what he could do”. He then came back a bit later with two covers that looked incredibly dusty with some old hair on it. Disgusting. The only pro of this hotel is the breakfast - great range of options both savoury and sweet.

The staff were extremely helpful and kind. The newly renovated side is where I had a room which was great so not sure how the older part looks.

It was a really great place to stay. A little noisy with all the construction. We walked to the Grand Place from the hotel just make sure to follow the river not go left or right. Parking was crappy but that’s anywhere in Europe to be honest but other than minor inconveniences it is a great hotel for a one to two night stay. Staff was very friendly and professional.

Overall a good budget hotel close to the train station and city centre.

Great

We stayed in the same Branch of Best Westin in Munich. There was a huge difference in both the hotels. The Munich property was way more clean, big and comfortable. This property was not upto the mark. They didn't provide water bottles also. No complimentary water. The water heater was very dirty from inside. Room was both small and uncomfortable. The property is near train station but away from the nightlife.
