It’s a trap. Nice resort, but some of the staff were very rude. I’d much rather have to pay for my food and drink in exchange for a pleasant server. The steak house was the worst steak I’ve had in Mexico, tasted like soot/gas, couldn’t even eat it. The Grotto is the only place with ok food and great service. Great for people who don’t want a Mexican experience. Zero authenticity. They try to sell you everything under the sun- friends fell for their ‘free breakfast’ at their sister resort- it was a 4 hour nightmare, pushing there Hyatt membership on them? They asked to leave 6 times, after saying no to 6 different sales staff, they begged to go back to the resort amd were finally brought back.

En väldigt bra upplevelse. Superbra service, god mat och trevlig personal! Men följ inte med på säljmötet som erbjuds! Det förstörde en halvdag för oss. Vi trodde att vi skulle få en trevlig dagsutflykt med sol och bad på ett annat hotell. Istället blev mötta av 15 säljare som inte tog ett nej och ville sälja på oss ett medlemskap för dyra pengar. Väldigt tråkigt för annars hade upplevelsen varit 10/10!

We had a fantastic stay at Secrets Tulum Resort. The resort was spotless, and the cleaning staff did an exceptional job throughout our visit. Frida, our wonderful concierge, truly made our stay extra special — she went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing time. Every staff member we encountered was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The amenities were excellent, especially the gym and the variety of pools. We also really appreciated the shuttle service to the sister beach resort, which gave us the opportunity to enjoy the beach as well. We would highly recommend Secrets Tulum Resort.

Amazing stay at a great hotel. The room was spacious, the bed was large and great, and the cleaning personell were very thorough. The Rosewater restaurant had tasty food, and very pleasant staff that made our mornings perfect. Everyone on the staff at Casa Zamna were great. The guys at the beach making our stay filled with good energy, while the front desk helped us with everything we needed. Cristian, Pablo, Fernando, Manuel, Benigno, Sergio, Salvador, Louis - everyone contributed greatly to our stay being something we'll cherish forever. We hope to be back one day!

Resort excelente! Vale cada centavo! Ambiente lindíssimo, quarto impecável, atendimento ótimo. Se pudesse citar defeitos: - Alguns bares não sabem fazer alguns drinks e aconteceu algumas vezes de acabar certo tipo de bebida em um certo bar. Quando acaba, acaba, ninguém repõe. No meu caso gosto bastante de Aperol Spritz e todos os dias acabava no sportsbar (unico bar aberto depois das 22h30). Tinha que beber outra coisa. - Os bares podiam conter carta de drinks classicos / autorais. Eu nunca sabia o que pedir, se tivesse uma carta seria bom até para saber o que tem e o que os barmen sabiam fazer. - As sobremesas no geral não eram boas. Não me lembro de ter comido nenhuma sobremesa gostosa, todas eram ruins/medianas. Acho que é um ponto importantíssimo a melhoras.

Listen….. I’ve stayed at a few Secrets (and hotels related to the brand) over the past few years, and I’d have to say that THIS was probably BY FAR THE BEST Secrets I’ve stayed in. From arrival…to check in…to being upgraded at no cost…to having your own concierge that makes sure you’re okay and keeps you up to date with the daily activities…to the rooms….to the restaurants/food options…the spa…the beach club…ALL OF IT! Top tier!!! I was sad to return back to reality after having such a great NYE vacation. I would stay here again if I ever come back to Tulum! Thank you to all the staff for your professionalism and hospitality!

Title: Beautiful resort and amazing staff, but a few setbacks. Trip: 12/14/25 to 12/21/25 We had a great stay at Secrets Tulum! The hotel is stunning and the rooms are spectacular. A huge thank you to Julian at the lobby bar and Aurora—they were both absolutely amazing and made our trip special. A few things kept this from being a 5-star experience: * Dining: I got food poisoning after eating the octopus at the Bluewater Grill outdoor restaurant and lost a full day of my vacation. Thankfully, the local pharmacy helped me recover quickly by providing a prescription. * The Beach Club: It is much further away than advertised. While beautiful, the service there wasn't as friendly as the main hotel, particularly the bartender. * Amenities: We were surprised that bathrobes weren't included in the room, even though slippers were provided. Overall, a beautiful resort that I would recommend, but there is room for improvement regarding food safety and beach club service.

The stay was good overall. Service was good for an all inclusive, and the staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful. The property was nice, although the limited dining options on the Casa Zamna beach side meant only one restaurant, and the food was okay but nothing standout. During my stay, I called for an IV service from an outside provider. The handling of this request was concerning. I was initially told there was an access fee for them to come. After I pushed back and explained the provider had serviced the hotel many times, the fee was suddenly dropped and I was told it was okay for them to come. About 30 minutes later, that approval was reversed and I was told I had to cancel the service entirely. The way the fee appeared and disappeared, followed by a last-minute denial, made the situation feel uncomfortable and raised concerns about whether the charge was legitimate or policy-based.

The property was nearly empty for new years! Tulum is a ghost town. Honestly the property was nice but nothing spectacular. The staff was wonderful but the food was awful. Hamburgers, chicken strips, teriyaki… very basic foods no real culinary surprises. Pools were empty. Rooms were well kept but definitely not a 5-star hotel. It took forever to get items. Room service was good but with very few options. All in all not the best place to stay but Id avoid Tulum completely it’s not worth it.
