The hotel was clean and the staff was good. On Expedia and other sites it was identified as a 5 star. This hotel did not meet the standards or expectations of a 5 star, 4 star okay. In addition, the hallways were loud and the walls were thin.

Amazing stay! Staff were extremely nice and helpful. Called to check up that everything was fine. The standard room was huge! Much larger than expected. All amenities provided. Roof top swimming pool. Great views. Free welcome drink - used it for a nice large pot of rooibos tea. Glorious. I loved my stay and it was a pity I stayed for only one night. Please try it.

I had to cancel my reservation because of an emergency cancelled trip and after multiple attempts to reach the hotel manager to explain my situation and ask for a refund, I was never able to get in touch with him. I tried calling, emails, messages via Hotels.com and nothing worked. I was even told by the hotel desk to call at 1 or 2 am my time in order to speak to him. Nowhere in the world does this happens anymore. Hotels value their guests. Worst customer experience ever. More than a thousand dollars spent and not even a reply to my message or returned phone call. You can contact me and I can provide additional information about this unfortunate incident. Never have I has this experience with a Radisson hotel before.

酒店属于商务连锁酒店，配套设施样样齐全，泳池有两个，室内的很标准，健身房有两层，设施较多，房间够大，都都在10楼以上，有窗，景观好。

Great hotel, let down by pettiness over parking
Won't stay again as they insist on charging a paltry amount for car parking despite having paid premium rates for a premium and otherwise good hotel. Staff blame anyone but the hotel. Pity.

Amazing upgrade, and unique fitness center
I used the upgrade program and enjoyed the breakfast, all day snacks and access to business room and great time for the light dinner & wine. I recommend this program, even if the room is almost the same, there is a nespresso machine and many consumable.
The breakfast in the business room is good, but after the second day I went to the main one, which was larger. The hotel offers very tasty fruits, great healthy cooking and heavy for those who enjoy strong breakfast.
But the best is by far the fitness center. The Planet Fitness is integrated in the Hotel, at the 10th floor, and there are 3000 square meters of equipment, rooms, huge swimming pool. I used whatever I could, but this is a dream for somebody who likes sport.
Finally the staff is very friendly, I had a late check out included in my upgrade, I left the room at 15:30 and enjoyed the business room until I left for the airport. The hotel has a shuttle to the train station (Sandton) which takes only 16 minutes to reach the airport.
Definitely the hotel to stay in Johannesburg.

Close proximity to most malls in Sandton
My family had a wonderful experience at Radisson Blu Sandton. They provide a shuttle to Sandton City mall every 30 minutes which we utilised fully. I'd definitely recommend this hotel.

Gute Lage in der Nähe von Nelson Mandela Square
Kurzaufenthalt von 2 Nächten. Genial ist, dass im gleichen Gebäudekomplex ein perfekt eingerichtetes Fitness Center ist, welches man gratis benutzen kann. Essen war gut, aber verglichen mit anderen Restaurants definitiv zu teuer. Halt ein Preisniveau eines 5 Stern Hauses.
Beim Haupt Eingang hat ein kleines Bistro / Restaurant, welches aber in der Früh erst um 8.00 oder 9.00 öffnet.
Für Frühaufsteher ist es schwierig, ausserhalb des Hotels einen Café zu erhalten.

Access to three story gym with pool
The best part about this hotel is access to a (third party) three story gym with pool and 250m indoor running track (on the 9th floor...). It's also easily accessible from the airport (JNB). Just take the train, and walk a block. There is a second Radisson Blu right next to the train station, don't mix them up.

Nice hotel.
Hotel is within walking distance to train and mall. Hotel also runs shuttle to train and mall every 30 minutes. They even gave us complimentary water every day. We arrived a few hours before check-in but they were able to accommodate us within 30 minutes.

Clean and convenient hotel
We had a great time at the gym which was amazing... 3 stories of state of the art gym equipment, classes and indoor heated pool. The shuttle to 3 km around the area is also very convenient

Convenient with a great breakfast menu
Gym is great! All new equipment.
Front desk staff is super helpful.
Housekeeping staff is sloppy and will try to rush you out... knocking and asking when you are checking out before checkout time, maintenance staff not fixing things speedily, etc.

I was disappointed with the cleanliness of my room! Every thing else was great. I am a regular at the Radisson Blu worldwide and it is the first time I see such a low level in terms of cleanliness.

Very good hotel in Sandton, Johannesburg
A nice hotel for business travelers and others. The shuttle service to the nearby shopping mall and Gautrain station is excellent.

There was a dirty towel in the bathtub upon check in and both phones in my king suite were not able to get through using the one touch service despite many multiple calls late at night to request for a wake up call. I then ended up waking up late for a meeting the next day since there wasn't a socket to charge my phone in the bedroom. I would have expected more from this hotel.

Key points for feeling disappointed from hotel stay at Radisson Blu Hotel Sandton:
-Generally staff were not service motivated
-Business lounge closed 30 minutes before closing time
-Business lounge did not provide the soft drinks that it indicated it would on web page
